Premier League Game Week 37 Tips & Preview

Premier League Game Week 37 Tips & Preview

We’ve reached the penultimate week of the 2023/24 Premier League season, with everything still left to play for!

The action gets underway at Craven Cottage, where Man City look usurp Arsenal at the top of the table.

Elsewhere, Newcastle host Brighton, the Spurs look to bounce back against Burnley, and Arsenal travel to Old Trafford.

Our Offside Oracle has previewed all 10 Premier League fixtures and provided his best bets below!

FULHAM VS MANCHESTER CITY
SGM: Man City (-1) & Haaland to Score 2+ Goals

Manchester City can climb above the Gunners to the top of the league should they complete their 16th straight win against Fulham.

The Sky Blues are unbeaten in the league since early December 2023, winning 16 of their 20 games since (4D).

Alternatively, the Cottagers have won once across their last seven league starts (3D,3L), and look destined to finish in the bottom half of the table.

Erling Haaland has returned to his damaging best, knocking four past the Wolves last time out and the league’s leading scorer will be looking to secure his second hat-trick against Fulham this season.

I’m taking City to cover a (-1) handicap and Haaland to score a brace.

AFC BOURNEMOUTH VS BRENTFORD
AFC Bournemouth $1.95

The Cherries are looking to consolidate their position inside of the top half of the table with a victory over the Bees.

Bournemouth are unbeaten across their last six home fixtures (4W,2L), only Liverpool and Man City claiming league wins at Vitality Stadium since October 2023.

Alliteratively, Brentford has lost five of their last seven games on the road (1W,1D), with their only victory coming at Luton Town.

I’m taking Bournemouth outright here.

NEWCASTLE UNITED VS BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION
Newcastle United and Over 2.5 Goals $1.83

Newcastle looks to extend a run of seven home games without defeat (4W,3D) when they welcome Brighton to St. James Park.

Alternatively, the Seagulls are hoping to break a seven game winless run on the road (2D,5L) across all comps.

The Toon have scored nine goals across their last two home fixtures, and look back to their damaging best.

I’m taking Newcastle to win combined with the overs.

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS VS CRYSTAL PALACE
Crystal Palace $2.50

Crystal Palace are one of the form sides in the comp at the minute, winning four of their last five fixtures (1D), including victories against Liverpool (1-0), Newcastle (2-0), and Man U (4-0)!

They’ll face a Wolves outfit boasting one win from their last nine games (2D,6L), that solitary victory coming against Luton Town.

The differential in form between this pair is undeniable, as such I am taking the Eagles and a very generous $2.50 on the road.

WEST HAM UNITED VS LUTON TOWN
Over 3.5 $2.10

Luton Town heads into this fixture knowing anything but a victory will send them back to the Championship for the 2024/25 season.

The Hammers are in the midst of a major form slump, winless across their last six games in all comps (2D,4L) and their last five fixtures at home (4D,1L).

From a neutral’s perspective, I’m hoping for an early goal followed by all hell breaking loose.

I’m steering clear of the H2H market, instead backing over 3.5 total goals.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS BURNLEY
Spurs to Win & Son to Score

The Spurs look to avoid a fifth straight defeat when they welcome the Clarets to North London.

The Ange Ball mania has taken a turn for the worse, with his side shipping goals left, right and center, conceding 13 times across their last four fixtures.

Meanwhile, five points adrift from safety with just two games remaining, save a miracle, Burnley’s time in the Premier League is about to expire.

Son Heung-Min has been the Spurs major goal threat this season, securing a respectable return of 17 goals and 9 assists.

I’m backing the club captain to find the back of the net on the way to the Spurs claiming a much needed victory.

EVERTON FC VS SHEFFIELD UNITED
Everton FC and Under 3.5 Goals $2.45

Sheffield United have offered up one of the worst Premier League campaigns in history, with three wins in 36 fixtures and 100 goals against, they have been truly horrible.

Everton hasn’t been crash hot themselves, but they have managed to comfortably avoid relegation despite having eight points deducted.

The Toffees have won three of their last four league fixtures (1D), including a historic victory against the Reds.

I’m backing Everton to walk this one in.

NOTTINGHAM FOREST VS CHELSEA
Chelsea $1.95

As much as it pains me to acknowledge, the Blues have been on an absolute tear in the backend of the season.

Chelsea has lost just once across their last 12 league fixtures (6W,5D), winning their last two games to nil.

Meanwhile, Forest knocked over the Blades last weekend, taking them three point & 11 goals clear of Luton in the drop zone.

Chelsea are the far better side here, and with European football up for grabs, I think they’ll make easy work of Nottingham.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS ARSENAL
Arsenal and Over 2.5 Goals $1.73

Man U and the Gunners meet at Old Trafford in what is a massive fixture for both clubs.

A loss for Arsenal here will surely see City lay claim to their fourth straight title.

While defeat for Manchester United will see their chances for European football evaporate.

Saying that, Arsenal are the far superior side here and should compete their first double over the Red Devils since the 2006/07 season!

ASTON VILLA VS LIVERPOOL
Liverpool to Win & Both Teams to Score $2.50

In the extremely unlikely event of both Man City and Arsenal losing this weekend, Liverpool can mathematically remain in the hunt for the title should they defeat the Villans.

After dropping points to both Everton (2-0) and West Ham (2-2), the Reds exploded back to winning way against the Spurs last week, securing a 4-2 victory.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa has won once across their last five games in all comps (1D,3L), dropping points in their last two home fixtures.

I’m backing both sides to find the back of the net, with Liverpool doing so on more occasions.
