Geelong: Race 2 (7:31pm)
No. 2 Xisan Bale

Xisan Bale is open to improvement in his second run back.

The lightly-raced two-year-old was fourth a few weeks ago in a mixed event at Ballarat.

He won his maiden over this track and trip in a nice time of 25.84 seconds on debut and is likely to prove the testing material up on the speed.

Geelong: Race 4 (8:08pm)
No. 6 Asperitas

Hard to fault the recent form of Asperitas.

This daughter of Barcia Bale put together two tidy wins at Bendigo and Ballarat before having her streak snapped at Geelong last week beaten 8.8 lengths.

She’s drawn to receive more room in transit this time, particularly with a vacant box next door.

Geelong: Race 6 (8:49pm)
No. 8 Big Yeti

Big Yeti should be ready for the step up to 520m now coming off a runner-up effort last week over shorter.

He’s again drawn wide in Box 8 but does have enough late speed to get a cart across in the middle stages and put pressure on the leaders.

Geelong: Race 8 (9:31pm)
No. 1 On The Green

On The Green is a multiple winner from Box 1 that should take big improvement into this assignment second-up.

The son of Fernando Bale held on late to win narrowly last week over a touch shorter at Ballarat and is likely to relish the early tempo here.
