I’m going to be real with y’all, I’ve been following the Kendrick Lamar v Drake rap beef waaaaaaaay more than I’ve been following the footy this last week.
Forget State of Origin, we’ve got KDot vs BBL Drizzy at the moment and if I was able to bet on that, I’d be confidently tipping Mr Lamar to pick up the W in that matchup.
Something we can bet on however is the NRL this weekend and it’s time to lock in once again.

Saturday was massive for us and we finished up 16 units!

The Phins will host Manly at Suncorp for the first time ever this Thursday night and honestly, the Dolphins on the (bottle)nose looks a great price for me this week.
I’m certainly picking up what the Phins are putting down in 2024 and last week we saw how quickly Manly can fall off, Phins to win is where I will be getting this multi started.
Jack Bostock is shredding on the wing for Redcliffe at the moment and while Isaako is the short priced favourite in the try scoring markets, I think Bostock on the other side of the field is what is revving my tractor this week.
Let’s lock him in.
That get’s us to $3.57 and while that looks pretty good to me, let’s add an extra try scorer because I’m feeling a little frisky.
Despite his handling errors this year, Tommy Turbo has looked bloody shmick and I reckon he’ll get a few chances against the Phins in this one.

Parra have a lot of issues right now and even though the half is a huge out for Brisbane, I’m backing Ezra and Walshy to stand up here.
Even if Reece didn’t have is greatest game ever last week.
The line is set at 9.5 points and I think that’s where I’m leaning for Brisbane, they should win this 13+ but let’s take them to cover to be safe.
Try scorer wise I’m going back to the two Broncs boys I’ve already mentioned in here.
Ezra Mam and Reece Walsh will need to show both Kevvy and the Brisbane faithful that they’re up for it if they’re still a hope of winning a premiership this year and I reckon they both do that by finding pay dirt on Friday night.

AAMI Park is a fortress for Melbourne, they’ve won their last 14 in a row down there and while the Sharkies have been obviously the number one team this far into the year.
I reckon the Storm have a point to prove after almost losing to the Titans, give me Storm to win.
Couple try scorers as well, Sualauvi Faalogo both ripped and teared against the Titans last week and I think we’ve only just scratched the surface with him.
Let’s lock him in for a meaty on Saturday night.
And you know what, we’re going to keep it conservative for this game so let’s leave it as a two legger.

Wrapping up the weekend, we’ve got yet another QLD Derby.
Don’t get me wrong, I want as many of these as possible but I’m worried we’re going to run out of them towards the back end of the year.
I actually think the Titans will win this one, despite a lack of wins to start the season, they seem (at least to me) to be improving week on week and could’ve very easily have beaten the Storm last Saturday.
Given that they are at home and the Cows couldn’t get it done agains the Phins last week, I’m locking in a Titans win.
AJ Brimson is one of my favourite players in the league and is a very good price to score in this one.
I think keeping it simple will do us a world of good here and he will be my only other leg in this game.
