Taree: Race 4 (2:20pm)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 1 Incendio
Incendio is having his second run back after finding excuses first-up over 1400m at Wellington.
The son of Per Incanto stuck to the task well to run a place, but he probably deserved to finish closer after racing across heels in the run home.
He’s unproven on a heavy track, but does race well in the wet and just needs luck early from the wide gate to be a factor.
Taree: Race 5 (2:56pm)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Obelius
Obelius has been knocking on the door of another win recently.
His latest effort at Muswellbrook in similar conditions was solid, making up ground out wide to run third over further.
This slight step back in trip should suit, and although his wins have been spaced, he does have likable heavy track form with the fitness to match.
Taree: Race 6 (3:35pm)
No. 5 Oakfield Badger
Oakfield Badger has enough early speed to offset the wide gate and lead.
The four-year-old by Exceed and Excel won his maiden here at Taree last November, going on to make it a double a few weeks later when he unleashed a powerful turn of foot to score at Tuncurry.
Kristen Buchanan’s gelding hasn’t been seen since, but if he handles the conditions fresh and finds the right spot up front, he’ll be hard to catch.
Taree: Race 7 (4:15pm)
No. 3 Zanardee’s Lane
Zanardee’s Lane weakened badly over further at Grafton last time out, so the step back in distance should help his cause.
Sally Taylor’s five-year-old was racing well beforehand, placing in wet conditions over a similar journey first-up.
The blinkers have been reapplied and from a better gate on this occasion, he should be bouncing back with a big run.
