Sandown: Race 2 (1:58pm AEDT)
No. 6 Payback

Payback has found her best form and looks ready to claim her hat-trick now.

The lightly-raced daughter of Handsome Prince won by a whopping 8.5 length margin in restriction company here last week, showing further improvement after claiming her maiden a week earlier.

She’s got a wider alley to contend with now but should find plenty of running room with a vacant box next door.

Sandown: Race 4 (2:49pm AEDT)
No. 6 Temper Trap

Temper Trap was an eye-catching winner on debut last week over the same distance from a slightly better box.

The daughter of My Redeemer went on to win by 1.5 lengths after settling just off the speed at box rise, and it doesn’t look as though she’ll need to improve much to measure up in this field.

Sandown: Race 7 (3:41pm AEDT)
No. 3 Another Houdini

Another Houdini is an honest type that very rarely fails to run a place.

Her win two back at Horsham over shorter was solid, and it seemed as though she might be wanting further than 485m last week where she ran third after jumping from a wide box.

She’s drawn a more suitable assignment this time around and I think we’ll see her burning along early up on the speed.

Sandown: Race 10 (4:39pm AEDT)
No. 7 Irish Millie

Irish Millie won well at Warragul three back and has been racing as though she might want further.

Her last two efforts over 460m have been only plain, but as we’ve seen in the past, she is suited by these longer trips.

With a win and a place to her name from Box 7, she looks a genuine threat in an open race.
