Pakenham: Race 2 (5:15pm AEDT)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 9 Raging
Raging was 10 lengths off Bold Bastille on debut at Flemington earlier in the month, a horse that has since gone on to win another Stakes race last weekend.
He did a bit wrong in the run and was green at times, but does have scope for improvement back a level from a good gate.
Jamie Mott has been riding well of late and I think the pair will get a well-timed steer into this contest coming off the speed.

No. 5 Heaven Forbid
Heaven Forbid is a lightly-raced mare making her fourth start for Mick Price and Michael Kent Jr.
This smart four-year-old won her maiden first-up at Sandown back in January, sent immediately back to the paddock with potentially bigger races in mind.
She tackled 1500m that day off a lengthy break and won by two lengths, so the 1400m tirp fresh shouldn’t pose any issues with Damian Lane back on board.
Pakenham: Race 7 (7:45pm AEDT)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 7 Umetini
Umetini is a progressive mare looking to build on a solid maiden win on the Hillside track at Sandown last month.
Ciaron Maher’s four-year-old was given a gun steer under Blake Shinn to find the front inside the final 100m, a massive return coming off nearly a year-long spell.
She should take plenty of benefit away from that performance, while she also handled racing over further as a three-year-old last year.
Pakenham: Race 8 (8:15pm AEDT)
Race Starts in: Race Finished

No. 2 Warmonger
Warmonger is a Stakes grade three-year-old that does appear well-placed resuming here over the mile.
We last saw Mick Price’s gelding go around at Cranbourne back in November, beaten 4.5 lengths out to 2000m where he lacked a turn of foot when it mattered most.
His recent jump outs have been good though, and he should find this a slightly easier contest back to provincial level.
