Daily Racing Tips – Thursday, March 14

Lady Di Di is making her return to the races after tackling Group 3 last time out in November.  

She failed to fire a shot from the inside gate that day when beaten over seven lengths, a disappointiong effort after winning well at Mornington the start prior.  

This should be more to her level stepping back in grade, while she’s also drawn well under Blake Shinn.  

Off an impressive jump out with form around a previous Stakes winner, she should prove hard to beat.  

Fallen was good up on the speed when winning her maiden first-up at Yarra Glen off a break. 

The Exceed and Excel filly rolled forward and kept finding in the run home, a brave finish with a couple of smart horses charging late.  

This is her first look at a dry track, but if she gets over early and leads from the wide gate, she’ll be hard to run down.  

Single N Ready has held her form nicely in tougher races so far thos prep.  

The Kennewell-trained filly was back in the money last start at Sale, charging the line late down the otuside where she was beaten a clear 2.5 lengths by Sassy Boom in the end.  

She tends to do her best racing on top of the ground, and I think the drop in distance will suit from a better gate this time.  

Takashima looks to be a three-year-old worth watching out of the Lindsay Park yard.  

The gelding by Russian Revolution was enormous on debut last year at Swan Hill, finding top gear approaching hte final furlong where he raced away to win well.  

We haven’t seen him since, but he did appear in good order during a recent jump out at Flemington. Could be worth watching the market come race time.
