Flemington: Race 1 (11:15am AEDT)
No. 2 Lempicka
She’s struggled in three previous runs here at Flemington, but this still looks a winnable race for Lempicka third-up from a spell.
The daughter of Rich Enuff was an impressive winner of the Gold Comet last start at The Valley, tucking in along the rail before bursting into clear thanks to a perfect ride from Blaike McDougall.
Her form at this stage of her prep reads well, and with some of her best wins coming in bunches, she should measure up nicely. in a competitive race.
Flemington: Race 7 (3:40pm AEDT)

No. 2 I Am Unstoppable
Expecting some improvement from I Am Unstoppable second-up in what is also his first run under Mark Zahra.
The colt by I Am Invincible was found to have a respiratory problem following his run in the Lightning Stakes first-up, which explains him finishing over four lengths off Imperatriz in the small field of eight.
Rewind back to the spring though, and you’ll find his form reads rather well.
A runner-up to Ozzmosis in the Coolmore is the standout, while he also finished within half a length of recent Newmarket Handicap winner Cylinder first-up.
Providing he’s pulled up okay, we should see him back to his best.
Rosehill: Race 8 (3:35pm AEDT)
No. 5 Post Impressionist
A few of these are going around on the short backup, including William Haggas’ talented Irish galloper, Post Impressionist.
The Teofilo five-year-old arrived on the scene with an eye-catching win in the Manion Cup last week, shifting to the outside at the top of the straight where Tom Marquand found himself with plenty of horse underneath him.
The pair crossed over three lengths clear in the end, a win that suggested there’s plenty more to come on their way to the Sydney Cup.
Drawn a better gate this time around with fitness on his side, I think we’ll see the pair get right back in the run and save something for the finish again.
Rosehill: Race 9 (4:15pm AEDT)
Race Starts in: Race Finished
No. 17 Another Will
Another Wil looks very tough to beat in the Doncaster Prelude.
Ciaron Maher’s gelding has been racing in a rich vein of form of late, earning his hat-trick at Flemington earlier in the month where he drew 4.5 lengths clear over the mile as the short-priced favourite.
He’s been given a good gap between runs ahead of his first black-type start, and based on his recent trial, he should be up on the speed early and very tough to run down.
