No. 2 Howgoodareyou
This looks a nice race for Howgoodareyou to kick off her prep.
The So You Think mare is two-from-two at BM78 level, winning back-to-back starts at Rosehill during the spring – the latter over impressive Kiwi import, Marquess.
It’s tough to get a feel for her based on two recent trials, but looking back, it’s fair to say the Waterhouse/Bott mare has been a firm raceday horse.
In well with the claim and potentially eying bigger races, she should prove hard to beat with a forward showing expected.

No. 1 High Octane
High Octane is a classy colt that looks capable of securing the Preview/Prelude double for Team Snowden.
He was strong to the line on debut a couple of weeks ago, driving through late after racing three-wide in transit to win by nearly a length.
The son of Deep Field may have won by more if he didn’t over-race at a key stage, but with Blake Shinn stepping into the saddle now, I think we’ll see further improvement in the Prelude for colts and geldings.

No. 5 Moravia
Racing over 1200m first-up in the Eskimo Prince Stakes is an intriguing setup for the Freedman-trained Moravia.
The Snitzel colt was beaten over nine lengths in the Coolmore last time out, settling well off the pace and never really threatening in the run home.
This step back in grade is much more suitable coming off a decent trial run, while I’m also mindful of the fact he finished within half a length of Cylinder in the Run to the Rose.

No. 7 Blanc De Blanc
Keen to see Blanc De Blanc back at the races for the first time in close to a year.
Mitch Freedman’s filly hasn’t raced since she finished four lengths off Shinzo in the Golden Slipper, looming up until the 200m mark where the wide run in transit eventually told.
She struggled at the barriers right through her two-year-old prep, but has shown plenty in a pair of recent trials to suggest her best is yet to come.
Drawn a handy gate this time under Mark Zahra, she should settle toward the tail and prove hard to hold out if she brings her best in the Senet Peter Le Grand Stakes.
