It’s another massive week of mens domestic Australian football!
Round 16 of the 2023/24 A-League season is here and as always, we’ve got you covered for tips in every matchup this week.
I’ve run my eyes over the markets, checked the trends and played a bit of FIFA EAFC 24.

The Glory will be heading into this Friday night clash feeling pretty good about themselves after their 4-2 win over Melbourne City last week.
Despite picking up the three points, Perth are $4.00 underdogs in this game against the Reds.
Adelaide have been quite poor of late, going down 0-4 to the Mariners last week and given that they’ve not scored a goal since mid January, I was hoping for a better price than $1.70.
However Adelaide has won four of their last five games against Perth and even though they have played quite poor recently, I’m backing them to turn it around here.

After grandstanding about how the bookies had their price completley wrong and how I was going to make a truckload of cash of the Phoenix H2H, they went and conceded a 94th minute equaliser to the Roar to break my heart before drawing with the Mariners on Tuesday.
It’s top plays bottom on Saturday afternoon and the ‘Nix are $1.94 favourites over Western United.
The underdog has won five of the last six games between Wellington and Western United FC but I don’t think I have it in me to back the $3.60 United.
Especially with how much I’ve talked up Wellington this year.
I’m with the ‘Nix once again.
Could be game of the round this one as third plays fourth at AAMI Park on Saturday afternoon but the bookies think this one will be a one sided affair.
The Vics are very short priced favourites at $1.48 and even though they’re just two points below them on the table, Macarthur are a massive $6.20 to win this game.
Pretty stiff for a team that’s unbeaten in their last five games if you ask me.
Each of Melbourne Victory’s last four games have ended in a draw and Macarthur have three draws and two wins in that same time.
I’m backing the draw here as well.
Two sides that are struggling for form this season will do battle on Saturday evening at Suncorp Stadium.
The Roar are $3.15 outsiders over City and I don’t give Brisbane much hope in this one.
Brisbane has a lot of problems to sort out at the moment which is disappointing considering how strong they started the year.
City to win this one.
Wrapping us up on Sunday afternoon is WSW hosting the 10th placed Jets and it’s hard not to back the favourite here.
Newcastle have just the four wins to their name this year and it’s going to be bloody tough for them to make it five against this WSW side.
The betting trends suggest that it could go Newy’s way, the underdog has won three of WSW last four A-League matches but I’m not as confident as the betting trends suggest.
