Gosford: Race 3 (2:55 AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 13 Figment

J: Andrew Adkins (55.5kg) T: Peter & Paul Snowden

Figment hasn’t been far away in three runs back and looks perfectly placed here up to the mile. The Not A Single Doubt filly was badly crowded approaching the finish line last time but the way she’s been working home in her recent runs certainly suggests she’ll relish the rise in trip.

Andrew Adkins goes onboard for team Snowden and she’s drawn to get the right run.

Sunshine Coast: Race 4 (4:15 AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 6 Slippin' Jimmy

J: Jasper Franklin (60kg) T: David Vandyke

Slippin’ Jimmy has just had the two starts and performed very well on both occasions. He hit the line strongly here over 1000m on debut to just go down by a head and once again was very good last time over the same course and distance.

He’s still very new but will continue to improve with racing and the step to 1200m looks ideal. David Vandyke has elected to go with the claim securing Jasper Franklin to do the steering and take 2kgs off.

Sunshine Coast: Race 5 (4:55 AEST)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 8 Toni Too

J: Jaden Lloyd (57kg) T: Paul Jenkins

Toni Too has been placed at her last three starts and looks well placed here with the slight drop in grade. She lost ground trying to get to the outside two starts back and finished off strongly to be beaten only a length. Last time she stuck on well to hold second when stepping up to 1800m.

A daughter of Tavistock, she’ll relish any moisture in the ground and should be afforded every chance from gate three under Jaden Lloyd.

Warrnambool Race 7 (5:50 AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 1 Convenor

J: Thomas Stockdale (60kg) T: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace

Convenor hasn’t had the best of luck at his past couple of starts. Over 2000m at Caulfield the Almanzor entire had nowhere to go in the early part of the straight but finished off well when the bird had flown. Last start he appeared to have every chance but didn’t look overly comfortable around the tight track and was found to have pulled up with a slow recovery.

He comes here hard fit and with three weeks between runs he drops back to 1700m and gets the blinkers back on. Tom Stockdale is riding well and goes onboard for Maher and Eustace.
