Wagga: Race 2 (2:05pm AEDT)
No. 11 Single Beat

Single Beat has continued to improve with racing this time in and looks primed to strike today at Wagga.

The Super One filly did need her first couple back to tune up, but she was a vastly improved performer at Canberra last time out, hitting the line to fill the minors behind Miss Stalwart.

She’s hard fit and might not be offered a better opportunity to win than this.

Wagga: Race 4 (3:20pm AEDT)
No. 5 Duchy Of Cornwall

Duchy Of Cornwall has improved for two competitive starts back from a break and is ready to win today at Wagga.

The Hallowed Crown gelding finished only a length behind the winner here at his first run back in October, and he returned from a freshen up to only just miss in Class 1 company.

With further improvement today, I think he’s going to take plenty of beating.

Wagga: Race 5 (4pm AEDT)
No. 2 Ruban Bleu

Ruban Bleu only just missed in similar company at Goulburn last time and strikes another winnable race today at Wagga.

The Artie Schiller gelding hasn’t won for some time, but he has been racing largely in city company this time in, and his most recent effort suggested that a win isn’t far away.

He’s hard fit and this really does look his opportunity.

Wagga: Race 7 (5:20pm AEDT)
No. 1 Baggage Handler

Baggage Handler couldn’t have done much more without winning on debut, and I think that he can begin his rise through the grades today at Wagga.

The Squamosa gelding showed good ability at the trials prior to debuting and hit the line to finish a nose second at Benalla last month.

He has plenty of upside and can use this as a launchpad into something bigger and better.
