Ballarat: Race 4 (3pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 11 Maid In Dubai

J: Carleen Hefel (56kg) T: Peter G Moody & Katherine Coleman

Maid In Dubai strips fitter into her second campaign assignment today at Ballarat, and she looks ready to break her maiden.

The Pride Of Dubai filly finished down the order on debut back in May and was immediately put away, but she hit the line well to finish second out at Kyneton when resuming this time.

With natural improvement, she can begin her rise through the grades.

Ballarat: Race 5 (3:30pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 7 Tewkesbury

J: Harry Coffey (59kg) T: T & C Mcevoy

We were with Tewkesbury when he resumed to finish third here at Ballarat first-up earlier this month, and I am confident that run will have brought him right on.

The Sir Prancelot gelding ended his last prep with an eye-catching win over 2000m here, and he was only half a length behind One Last Kiss first-up.

With improvement and at the mile, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

Hawkesbury: Race 5 (3:40pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 2 Aunt Roberta

J: Chad Schofield (59kg) T: John O'shea

Aunt Roberta makes her return to the races at Hawkesbury this afternoon and I think that this is an ideal launchpad.

The Pierro mare was in fine form throughout her most recent preparation, recording consecutive wins at Wyong before filling the minors in metro company at her latest.

She is yet to win at this point of her preparation, but this is a substantially weaker race, and I am confident that her class edge alone will see her into the finish.

Hawkesbury: Race 6 (4:15pm AEDT)

Race Starts in: Race Finished

Win

No. 4 Andronicus

J: Mitchell Bell (57.5kg) T: Peter & Paul Snowden

Andronicus is another first-up galloper at Hawkesbury today with genuine winning claims.

The Peter & Paul Snowden-trained colt made just two appearances at the races during his debut prep, only just missing at Newcastle before breaking his maiden easily over 1300m at Kembla Grange.

He’s had the benefit of a couple of trials leading up to today’s return, and he is drawn ideally under Brett Prebble.
