The Epaulette gelding has placed in four of five starts since debuting, but each of his two runs back this time, both at Randwick-Kensington, have suggested that he has returned an improved horse.
Fitter third-up and under James McDonald, this is his chance to strike.

Joey D’or is hard fit and ready to strike this evening at Canterbury.
The Pariah gelding hasn’t missed placing in each of three starts back this time, and we were with him when he finished second over 1200m at Kembla Grange on Melbourne Cup Day.
I’m confident that run will have topped him off nicely, and the addition of Rachel King tonight can see him into the finish.

I thought that this looked a really nice race for Condrieu.
The Sebring mare has been racing in typically good and consistent horse recently, and win over 1850m up in Newcastle most notably, while she was last seen finishing second in a stronger race at Randwick-Kensington.
She’s drawn a peach tonight in Barrier 4 and gets some relief in the weights under Zac Lloyd.

No. 3 Ningaloo Star
Ningaloo Star returned to winning form with a strong effort at Randwick on Big Dance Day, and a repeat of that performance would see her hard to beat again tonight at Canterbury.
The Deep Field mare has been knocking on the door of a race win since resuming, and she beat home some talented rivals at her latest.
She’s another that is in peak order today and is drawn to receive every chance.
