Raghnall Waltz’s recent form has been excellent, and he looms as the one to beat again in Race 4 at Dapto tonight.
The son of Worm Burner has won four of his last five starts, including three over this route, while he overcame a slow start at Goulburn last time out to record an outstanding victory.
He boasts the box speed to overcome the central draw, and he’s certainly up to the grade.
Ritza Margo takes winning form into this race and looks capable of making it two in a row.
The daughter of Flying Ricciardo overcame traffic to fill the minors here two starts back, and took advantage of a quick step to lead all the way at The Gardens last time out.
She looks to hold stronger box speed than those drawn either side tonight, and I am confident that she can convert another win.
The Group 3 Queensland Flame headlines tonight’s program at Albion Park, and star chaser Jay Is Jay looms as the one to beat.
Jay Is Jay has won half of his thirty-six career starts to date, placing a further nine times, while his recent form has been typically smart, including a Group 1 placing.
I’m going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi tonight and pump up my odds with Bear’s Bullet running into the first three and Magistrate running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 2 Jay Is Jay (Win)
- 1 Bear’s Bullet (Top 3)
- 6 Magistrate (Top 4)
Zora Ville looks well placed to bounce back into the winner’s stall tonight at Dapto.
The daughter of Fernando Bale was slow away before being shuffled back to last here last week, but her form prior to that was excellent, and included three consecutive wins.
She maps to go straight to the lead tonight, and if she does step well, I think she’ll prove too difficult to catch over the short trip.
