Nangar Lucy takes winning form into this contest and will take plenty of beating again.
The daughter of Fernando Bale has won three of her last five starts, including a Group 2 race up at The Gardens last month, and she bounced back from a couple of luckless starts with an eye-catching win over this route last week.
I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi tonight and pump up my odds with Isle Of Rose running into the Top 2 and Molly On Fire running into the Top 4.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 6 Nangar Lucy (Win)
- 5 Isle Of Rose (Top 2)
- 2 Molly On Fire (Top 4)
Hurricane’s Fury can go straight to the lead in Race 7 at Wentworth Park tonight and make every post a winner.
The son of Fabregas hasn’t won since late August, but he has been racing in consistent form, and he only just missed from a central draw here last week.
If he does step well, I think he’ll simply prove too difficult to catch.
Mortified is another last-start winner that looks to have genuine claims again tonight at Wentworth Park.
Mortified has returned some outstanding performances this time in, only just missing in Group 1 company most notably, and finding form around some handy opposition.
His record from Box 4 is outstanding and he can build on it again.
Rothwell Chunk will need plenty of luck in running late, but he’s certainly up to the class of Race 9 at Wentworth Park tonight, and I thought he looked a bit of value in the market.
The son of Barcia Bale has been performing well up and down the east coast recently, recording wins at Albion Park and The Gardens in two of his last three appearances, breaking the clock at the latter.
He is a multiple Box 8 winner, and we can have an each way play tonight at the price.
