There’s a case to be made for a few of them in this race, but I thought it looked an ideal one for Icy Hot, and she looks a bit of value at current odds.
The daughter of Flying Fire Up hasn’t enjoyed the best of luck from out wide a few times recently, but her form earlier this prep was excellent, and included a nice win over this route last month.
If she steps well tonight, I think she’ll be in it for a long way.

The son of Bernardo has won five of his last eight starts, but he’s run into trouble from tough draws at his last two and was simply never in either contest.
He won his only other start from Box 1 previously and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again tonight.
