Uruguay vs Namibia (1:45am)
Uruguay (-16.5)

Uruguay gets their chance to record a deserved Rugby World Cup victory at the expense of minnows Namibia earlier on Thursday morning.

In comparison to the Six Nations, the Rugby Championship sides and a few others, Uruguay are certainly a minnow nation, but there is a real case to be made for them being the ‘best of the rest’.

The line was set at 58.5 in their campaign opener with host nation France, and 28.5 when they met Italy last week. They covered both easily, and were a formidable opposition in both games.

Namibia are still yet to win a game at any Rugby World Cup, and they’ve suffered thrashing defeats to Italy (51-8) and New Zealand (71-3) so far this time.

All of that considered, and Uruguay looks like to win this one well. 16.5 points looks an extremely generous line.
