Premier League Game Week 7 Tips & Preview

Premier League Game Week 7 Tips & Preview

The Premier League heads into Game Week 7 with just two competition points separating Liverpool in 2nd and Arsenal in 5th.

Ange’s Spurs put their unbeaten run on the line against Klopp’s Reds in a must see fixture.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa take aim at Brighton, Man U face Crystal Palace for the 2nd time in five days, and City travel to Wolverhampton.

As always, our Football Fortune Teller has previewed all 10 EPL fixtures and provided his best vets below!

ASTON VILLA VS BRIGHTON
Villa to Win & Both Teams to Score $3.60

Both Aston Villa and Brighton will be looking to bounce back to winning ways, after the pair were eliminated from from the EFL Cup midweek.

Despite Cup woes, both outfits enter this fixture in decent league form.

Brighton has won five of their opening six fixtures (1L), leaving them 3rd behind City and Liverpool, while scoring a league-high 18 goals!

Meanwhile, Villa has kicked off their season in impressive fashion, winning four games across the same trip, while extending their home PL wining streak to nine!

Since Brighton’s promotion to the Premier League in 2019, they’ve only bettered Villa on one occasion (2D,6L), with the Villans winning the last four meetings.

I’m backing Villa to get the job done at home, but not without the visitors finding the back of the net.

WOLVES VS MAN CITY
Man City HT/FT $2

The quadruple pipe dream is dead, a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle has seen City crashed out of the EFL Cup.

Pep’s depleted squad now turns their attention to Wolverhampton, as they look to secure their seventh straight league win.

Matheus Nunes is set to start against his former club for the first time, as Pep looks to paster the whole left in the midfield by a suspended Rodri.

Despite their injury woes, I expect City to secure their seventh straight league win over the Wolves, with the current champs to lead at the end of each half for the fifth time in seven starts.

WEST HAM VS SHEFF UTD
West Ham and Over 2.5 Goals $2.10

Sheffield United look to put a  humiliating 8-0 defeat to the Toon behind them when they travel to the capital to take on the Hammers.

West Ham are out to bounce back from their own defeat, shipping three goals to Liverpool in game week 6.

The Blades are sitting dead last in the league, picking up just one point from six starts, while conceding a league-high 17 goals.

Both teams to score has saluted in all six of the Irons PL fixtures this season, while over 3.5 goals have been scored in four of those matches.

I’m backing the Hammers to secure all three points at home in a goal heavy outing.

BOURNEMOUTH VS ARSENAL
Arsenal (-1) $2.30

The Gunners are bidding to re-enter the top four when they travel to Bournemouth on the weekend.

The Cherries have scraped together three competition points from three draws, with that first win of the season still eluding them.

Recent history suggests that North Londoners should stroll to victory here, winning nine of the pairs 12 PL meetings (2D,1L), claiming the double over Bournemouth last season, scoring three goals in each game.

I’m backing the Gunners to return to winning ways in style here, seeing off the Cherries with a 2+ goal margin.

MAN UTD VS CRYSTAL PALACE
Bruno SoT & Man U to Win $2.26

Man U and Crystal Palace are set to meet for the 2nd time this week, after the Red Devils claimed a convincing 3-0 victory in the EFL Cup.

The Eagles will undoubtedly field a stronger side over the weekend, with goal threat Eze and top defender Marc Guess set to return to the fold.

After losing for the first time in 32 home fixtures, Man U will be keen to re-establish dominance at Old Trafford.

With two consecutive wins under their belt, and several key players returning from injury, I can’t see United dropping points here.

I’m backing a home win combined with a shot on target from captain Fernandes.

NEWCASTLE VS BURNLEY
C. Wilson 2+ SoT & Newcastle to Win $2.28

The Toon are back firing off all cylinders!

Eddy Howes side flogged the Blades 8-0 last weekend, before knocking Man City out of the EFL Cup, keeping Pep’s side scoreless for the first time in 15 fixtures across all comps.

Meanwhile, the Clarets are dwelling down in 19th space, with one competition point to their name.

I can’t see Burnley troubling Newcastle at Saint James Park, as such I’m backing the home side to win combined with two strikes on target from the in-form Callum Wilson.

EVERTON VS LUTON
Everton to Win & Under 3.5 Goals $2.20

Everton host Luton Town in what can only be described as a rough watch.

Sean Dyche is finally starting to turn things around at Goodison Park, with the Toffees losing just once across their last five starts in all comps (3W,1D).

Alternatively, the Hatters are winless in four (1D,3L), scoring just once in the previous four away fixtures!

I’m backing Everton to distance themselves from the drop zone with a low scoring victory.

TOTTENHAM VS LIVERPOOL
SoT SGM $18.41

Ange is bidding to become just the third manager to go undefeated across their opening seven Premier League fixtures, to do so he’ll need to secure at least a point against a side in RED hot form.

Alongside an impressive unbeaten run, the former Australian manager can become the first Gaffa to see his side score 2+ goals in each of their first seven league games in charge!

A man rewriting history. Now let’s get onto the game.

Tottenham are sitting in 4th on the table after coming from behind twice last week to secure a point away to Arsenal, a result which will only build confidence going into this fixture.

Meanwhile, after drawing their opening match to Chelsea, the Reds have gone on to win five straight games, extending a league-high unbeaten run to 17 fixtures!

Liverpool has dominated this match-up in recent history, going 12 games without defeat against the Spurs (9W,3D) across all comps, including the double last season.

But, Angeball!

Throw all historic data in the bin, this is going to be a cracking fixture!

Neither side has looked assured defensively this season, while both teams have been lethal going forward!

Let’s have fun with this tip and go for a Shots on Target Multi.

Nunez 1+ SoT
Dias 1+ SoT
Salah 2+ SoT
Son 2+ SoT
Combined Odds $14.94!

NOTTM FOREST VS BRENTFORD
Nottm Forest $2.75

Both Forest and the Bees hope to return to winning ways when they meet at the City Ground.

Brentford are on a four game winless run in the league, handing the Toffees their first win of the season last time out.

Notts Forest are sitting just one point above their visitors in 12th, though they have endured a far tougher start to the season, with fixtures against Arsenal, City and Man U.

The Bees are yet to look comfortable without Ivan Toney in their starting 11, and I can’t see them piecing it together on a tough road trip.

FULHAM VS CHELSEA
Chelsea to Win $2

Game Week 7 is wrapped up on Tuesday morning when Fulham host Chelsea in a London Derby.

The Blues searching for their second win of the season and their first league goal in four starts!

On a positive note, Chelsea knocked off Brighton midweek in the EFL Cup, with Nicolas Jackson breaking his duck for the season.

The Blues have far too much talent on their squad to continue to drop points in these fixtures, I’m backing Poch to lead this young side to all three competition points here.

LUTON VS BURNLEY
Burnley $2.50

We’re dealt a bonus fixture this week, with Luton hosting Burnley in a rescheduled GW2 match.

Both sides are sitting on one competition points (at publish), with Luton scoring a league-low three goals, while Burnley are just about as poor in the final third with four.

Burnley got the better of Luton at Kenilworth Rd in the Championship last season, with their last loss against the Hatters coming in League One back in 1999!

I’m backing the Clarets to send Luton to the bottom of the table with a convincing win here.
