Australia vs Fiji (1:45am)
Same Game Multi

VERY interesting game, and there really is a case to be built for both Australia and Fiji.

The Wallabies recorded a smart win over a tough Georgia outfit to open their campaign on a positive note last week, and I have little doubt that they’ll take both improvement and confidence from that effort.

I really rate this Fijian side, meanwhile, and they were extremely unlucky not to beat Wales in their campaign opener, meaning that this game is probably a do-or-die for their chances of progression.

That being said, there seems to be a real sense of timing with Eddie Jones-coached sides, and the Wallabies’ continued improvement prior to the World Cup started to pay dividends last week.

With that in mind, I think that the Wallabies could really return a special performance this time around.

Same Game Multi selections:

  • Australia (-8.5)
  • Marika Koroibete Anytime Try
England vs Japan (5am)
England (-22.5)

Could this be the enormous upset that Japan pulls off at the 2023 World Cup!?

In 2015, it was South Africa and in 2019, it was Ireland. Those are world class nations, and Japan’s continued improvement over the last decade really has been something to behold.

Imagine it. You’d love to see it.

Realistically, England should be winning this, and winning it rather well. They were too tough for a good Argentina side first-up last weekend, and they remain one of the strongest sides in the world.

I thought Japan were also very good, albeit against a minnow nation in Chile, and they too will return a tough performance.
