Wyong: Race 2 (1:40pm)
No. 3 Miss Bayles

I thought that Miss Bayles looked quite good on debut, and she can begin her rise through the grades today at Wyong.

The Exceed And Excel filly showed some ability in a handful of trials prior to debuting, and she hit the line to finish only half a length behind the winner at Kembla Grange earlier this month.

There are a few debutants firm in the market, but I think that this galloper’s experience edge will prove the difference.

Wyong: Race 4 (2:55pm)
No. 3 Oakfield Prince

The consistent Oakfield Prince goes around in Race 4 at Wyong today, and he might not be offered a better opportunity to win.

The So You Think gelding has been a consistent performer throughout his career, and he has missed placing once in four starts since transferring to the care of Kris Lees.

He was less than a length behind the talented Blackcomb here at Wyong last time out, and he take his place today in peak order.

Wyong: Race 6 (4:10pm)
No. 7 Cape Byron

Cape Byron will make the second start of his career at Wyong this afternoon, and I’m confident that he can fight out the finish.

The Capitalist colt was given a few trials prior to debuting, improving with each, but he clearly needed his first run at Kembla Grange a couple of weeks ago when racing greenly.

He’ll take improvement from that experience, and we can have an each way play today at current odds ($7 at publish).

Wyong: Race 7 (4:50pm)
No. 8 Spicy Hotpot

Spicy Hotpot drops in class into the penultimate race at Wyong today, and it looks a great opportunity for her to win.

The Russian Revolution mare has won just one of her ten career starts to date, but she has turned in some nice performances recently, and only just missed at Randwick-Kensington before a credible effort in Saturday metro company.

She’s hard fit and is a touch of overs at current odds, in my opinion ($6.50 at publish).
