Coffs Harbour: Race 1 (1:20pm)
No. 6 Egotistic

Egotistic was an impressive winner on debut and can continue her rise through the grades today at Coffs Harbour.

The daughter of Winning Rupert showed some ability at the trials prior to debuting before proving too good for them at Ballina last month.

With natural improvement, this looks the next logical step.

Queanbeyan: Race 5 (3:25pm)
No. 6 Deploy And Destroy

This looks a really nice race for Deploy And Destroy.

Deploy And Destroy was a smart winner in his first start for the Dryden yard at Canberra back in July, and he just hasn’t enjoyed the best of luck in two subsequent starts.

He has drawn ideally today and does look to have a lot of these gallopers covered for class.

Coffs Harbour: Race 5 (3:45pm)
No. 8 Extessive

Extessive looks to be the class horse engaged in Race 5 at Coffs Harbour today and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.

The well-travelled mare recorded consecutive wins at Scone and Doomben two and three runs back, before only just being denied in a similar contest at the Sunshine Coast last time.

She’s hard fit, drops back to country company and I think it’s the perfect opportunity for her to bounce back.

Queanbeyan: Race 6 (4:05pm)
No. 4 Angel Academy

Angel Academy will take plenty of improvement into the second start of her campaign today, and she looks a touch of overs in my opinion at current odds ($12 at publish).

The Invader mare was a consistent performer last time in, failing to miss placing in four starts and breaking her maiden here, most notably.

She was decent, though clearly needing the run when fourth over 1200m at Canberra first-up from a break, and I am expecting a far sharper effort today.
