Richmond: Race 4 (8:05pm)
No. 2 Nara Spirit

Nara Spirit is chasing a hat-trick when she steps out tonight at Richmond and looks well placed to pull it off.

The daughter of Fernando Bale returned to the winner’s stall here at Richmond two back, and she franked that effort with an even stronger one at Wentworth Park last time.

She’s hard-fit and a multiple winner from Box 2 previously.

Richmond: Race 5 (8:27pm)
No. 2 Ragin' Fire

Sticking with the ‘2’ cloths a little longer, and I think that Ragin’ Fire will take a power of beating tonight as well.

Ragin’ Fire has missed placing once in her last eight trips to the races, winning twice, including a dominant performance here last week.

She’s yet to leave from Box 2, but she’s undefeated in starts from Box 1 and Box 3, and I’m confident she’ll relish the conditions.

Richmond: Race 9 (9:57pm)
Same Race Multi

This looks another perfect race for the speedy Great Flash, and I think he’ll return to winning form.

Great Flash has made just four appearances at the races so far, but he has stamped himself as one to watch by winning twice and only just missing on the other two occasions.

He maps to go straight to the lead tonight, so I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Canya Dior and Jilliby Sivo each running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 1 Great Flash (Win)
  • 2 Canya Dior (Top 4)
  • 5 Jilliby Sivo (Top 4)
Richmond: Race 11 (10:35pm)
No. 8 Better Draw

I’m keen to stick with Better Draw when he attempts to bounce back from his first career defeat last week.

The son of Pindari Express won each of his first four starts in impressive fashion, and after missing the jump here from this draw last week, he stormed home to fill the minors.

He should be able to settle a little closer this week and he looks to have a very bright future.
