Razors has returned to the races in slick form this time and looms as the one to beat again at Wyong today.
The Godolphin gelding broke his maiden in his first start back in July before only just missing in BM64 company at his latest.
He’ll take further improvement into this race and is drawn a peach under James McDonald.
It could be a very nice day for Godolphin at Wyong today, and I’m also very keen on Balkans in Race 5.
Balkans has only made the one appearance at the races so far, finishing fifth in what has turned out to be a decent maiden at Canterbury back in June.
He’s been freshened, sent back to the trials and is another who gets the services of James McDonald this afternoon.
Good edition of the Mona Lisa with some notable gallopers engaged, but Olentia really does still look to have them covered for class.
Olentia has made just six appearances at the races since debuting, but her record remains nearly faultless at five wins.
She returned to score a pleasing win at Randwick a couple of weeks ago and this is well within her abilities as well.
Military Mission is a dual accepter, but the Wyong Gold Cup really does look a lovely feature for him.
The Mastercraftsman gelding did need his first run back this time to dust off the cobwebs, but he was last seen hitting the line for second in the Premier’s Cup.
Any improvement on that effort would see him into the finish again and the booking of Rachel King is positive.
