Geelong: Race 2 (1:05pm)`
No. 7 The Woke Waiter

The Woke Waiter has improved for two competitive runs back from a break, and he rates as a key winning chance again at Geelong this afternoon.

The Mike Moroney-trained gelding finished a length and a half behind the winner at Sale when resuming, before letting down with an eye-catching turn of foot for the same result last time.

Fitter third-up, he can settle a little closer from the inside draw this week and finish over the top of them.

Geelong: Race 6 (3:30pm)
No. 5 Run Like Hell

Run Like Hell puts an unbeaten record on the line at Geelong today, and something like this does look the next logical step for her!

The Hellbent filly was too good for them at Mt Gambier on debut and was immediately put away, and her fresh performance and win out at Donald suggested she’d furnished into a stronger horse.

With further improvement, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.

Geelong: Race 7 (4:10pm)
No. 9 Toyz On Fire

Toyz On Fire returned a fair effort to finish midfield here at Geelong fresh from a break, and I’m confident she’ll take plenty of improvement into this contest.

The Fighting Sun mare was a consistent performer last time in, performing well in races not dissimilar to this one and finding form around credible company.

Her second-up record is competitive, and we can have an each way play today at current odds.

Geelong: Race 8 (4:50pm)
No. 11 Bellini Miss

This looks a really nice race for Bellini Miss.

Bellini Miss didn’t show a lot when she finished six lengths behind the winner here first-up from a break, but she turned in a far more impressive performance to only just miss here at her latest.

She’s drawn well this week under Beau Mertens and is primed to strike.
