Richmond: Race 4 (8:12pm)
No. 7 Freydis

Freydis takes winning form into the fourth at Richmond tonight and looks capable of making it two in a row.

The daughter of Pindari Express has continued to improve with races recently, culminating in arguably the best performance of her career to date last start.

She will need some luck from the wide draw, but I am confident she’ll be in the finish.

Richmond: Race 6 (8:50pm)
No. 8 Spooky Ethics

The talented Spooky Ethics takes her place in Race 6 at Richmond tonight and looms as the one to beat again.

Spooky Ethics has won four of her last seven starts, including two in succession leading into this contest.

She has recorded three wins from five previous starts from Box 8 and with even luck, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.

Richmond: Race 7 (9:09pm)
Same Race Multi

Haney To Excel is in peak order, drawn ideally and will take a power of beating tonight at Richmond.

The son of Good Odds Harada rarely returns a poor effort, and he broke the clock over this route two starts back before repeating the dose at his latest.

There isn’t a lot of value left in his win quote tonight, so I am instead going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Stretch Around running into the first three and Tralee Jay running into the first four.

Our Same Race Multi selections are:

  • 2 Haney To Excel (Win)
  • 1 Stretch Around (Top 3)
  • 8 Tralee Jay (Top 4)
best bet
Richmond: Race 9 (9:47pm)
No. 8 Vamoose

Vamoose has gone to another level recently and strikes another very winnable race tonight at Richmond.

The son of Fernando Bale has won six of his last eight starts, breaking the clock several times and finding form around some handy opposition.

He relishes leaving from a wide box and he is my best bet on the program.
