Gosford: Race 3 (1:20pm)
No. 2 Extremely Frilly

Extremely Frilly makes her return to the races in the third at Gosford today and can kick off with a win.

The daughter of Extreme Choice made just one appearance at the races during her debut prep, hitting the line well for an agonizingly close second here at Gosford.

She’s had the benefit of a trial in the lead up to her return and on exposed form, she clearly looks the one to beat.

Sale: Race 5 (2:30pm)
No. 5 Dunalley

Dunalley steps put a Sale today third-up and ready to win.

The Dandino mare finished fourth, beaten less than half a length at Cranbourne first-up this time, before filling the minors here at Sale at his latest, also less than a length from the winner.

Fitter third-up and at the mile, I don’t think she’ll be offered a better opportunity to win than this.

Gosford: Race 5 (2:35pm)
No. 7 Miss Shalaa

Miss Shalaa broke through for her maiden race win when resuming at two weeks ago, scoring by 1.4 lengths over 1400m.

The four-year-old mare eased three wide upon straitening and showed a quick turn of foot to easily breeze past her rivals in the concluding stages of the race.

She’s been placed in five of her seven career starts and although this is another step up in grade, she is clearly racing well and is a winning chance.

Gosford: Race 7 (3:50pm)
No. 2 Chipper

The Kym Waugh trained Chipper couldn’t have been much more impressive when winning his maiden by over five lengths back in December 2022 at Wyong as the short priced favourite.

Since then he has failed to win but been competitive each time he’s been to the races and his first up second at Gosford over the short course was full of merit.

He’ll be fitter now and will appreciate the step up in distance.
