The Elvstroem Classic looks the perfect feature for Capulet.
Capulet has made two appearances at the races since returning from a break, finishing second in the VOBIS Gold Strike first-up before only just missing at Pakenham last time.
Fitter third-up and from a good draw, he can fight out the finish again.
Second Division has hardly put a hoof wrong since debuting and strikes another winnable race this afternoon at Swan Hill.
The Roc De Cambes gelding filled the minors on debut in New Zealand back in April before winning his next two.
Having only just missed in his Australian debut at Echuca last week, I think the improvement he’ll gain from that run will see him go one better today.
I’m going to give Feuermond another chance at Swan Hill today.
The Sea The Moon gelding finished down the order at The ‘Bool last time out after suffering a few respiratory issues, but his form prior to that was excellent, including a win in BM64.
He’s a month between starts but does race well fresh, and he looks to have a lot of these rivals covered for class.
Sacred Palace is the one for me in this year’s Golden Topaz.
Sacred Palace also pulled up with a minor ailment after missing at his last start, but his form earlier in his prep was good, and he savaged the line to fill the minors in the Wangoom Handicap two starts back.
This looks to be about his level and with luck, I think he’ll take beating.
