Scone: Race 3 (12:55pm)
No. 2 Tiva Bay

Tiva Bay takes winning form into Race 3 at Scone today and something like this does look the next logical target!

Tiva Bay has been a good horse for the Lees yard for a couple of seasons now, and after knocking on the door of a win for a few runs back this time, he was rewarded in BM66 company last time out.

He’s hard-fit and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish.

Geelong: Race 4 (1:05pm)
No. 9 Miss Worthington

This looks a great opportunity for Miss Worthington to break her maiden.

The Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott-trained mare has made just three appearances at the races since debuting, finishing second on two occasions.

She steps out this week third-up and might not be offered a better opportunity to win.

Geelong: Race 9 (4pm)
No. 5 Presser

This looms as one of the more open races on the program and there is a case to be made for a few of them, including Presser.

Presser hasn’t been seen at the races since April last year, but he stamped himself as one to watch during that debut prep by breaking his maiden and racing well around horses that franked the form.

He’s reportedly furnished into a stronger horse during his time away from the track and we can have an each way play today at current odds ($11 at publish).

Scone: Race 9 (4:30pm)
No. 4 Martedi

Martedi can continue his rise through the grades in the last at Scone today.

The Maurice gelding showed some ability at the trials prior to debuting, before working home well to fill the minors over 1280m at Tamworth.

Having backed up that performance with an easy win in maiden company at his latest, this does look the next obvious point of call.
