37 Game Weeks are in the rear-view mirror as we arrive at the final day of the Premier League season.
All 20 clubs are in action at the same time, Monday morning 1:30am AEST, and while Manchester City have already been crowned champions, there is still plenty that can happen in the relegation dogfight, and in the race to European qualification.
Check out my final tips of the season below!
Chelsea’s disappointing season finally draws to a close when they take on Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.
It has been one of their worst since the turn of the century, and rarely have Chelsea looked like a shade on the club that has won many European trophies.
They’ll finish in the bottom half of the table, and an enormous rethink is required all over the place prior the new season commencing.
Newcastle, meanwhile, have been a revelation, deservedly booking themselves a Champions League berth by winning last week.
I’m happy to follow the recent form.
Arsenal are left to lament what could have been, but they can close out their Premier League campaign with a consolation win over Wolves.
Just 6 weeks ago a title appeared imminent, but they have shat the bed in a big way and will finish the season second behind City (and their three-peat).
Wolves haven’t enjoyed their best-ever season in England’s topflight, and they were again unable to win when sharing the points with relegation-threatened Everton last week.
There is a big class difference here, and I’m very firm on the Gunners.
Everton enter the final day of the Premier League season still a chance of relegation, but a draw against Bournemouth at Goodison Park should be enough.
The Toffees probably do deserve to go down – a club of their stature that has failed to compete most weeks almost always needs a complete rebuild, and will anything actually be learned if they survive?
Bournemouth sit comfortably clear of the drop zone, but they have fallen out of form recently, losing each of their last three league matches.
I think that Everton will sneak home, survive, and battle again in 23/24.

Absolutely incredible that they find themselves in this position, but the Foxes are in the relegation zone and need to win, while hoping other results also go their way, to remain in the Premier League.
Things looked bright enough when Harry Souttar arrived, but Leicester have hardly fired a shot in 2023, and I do believe they will go down because of it.
The Hammer have been OK without really threatening at any point, and they take winning form into this clash after knocking off Leeds last week.
I think that this is going to end up as a low-scoring draw.
Southampton’s final appearance in the Premier League will take place at St Marys, and they’re charged with overcoming Liverpool, who can still win a place in the Champions League.
For more than a decade, Southampton have maintained their position in England’s top tier of football, but with only six wins to their name this time, it has come to an end.
Liverpool’s resurgence in the second half of the season has been excellent, and I think they’ll break Southern England hearts one last time this week.
I think that Leeds will also play their final Premier League match this week, and they take on Tottenham Hotpsur.
The writing looked to be on the wall when they finished down the order last season, and things have only gotten worse for Leeds this season, who enter Game Week 38 nineteenth on the ladder, and in need of a win, and several other results to fall in their favour.
Spurs’ recent form has been dreadful, including three losses from their last four league matches, but this is easily the weakest opponent that they have drawn.
One of the better contests on the final day of the Premier League will see Villa take on Brighton at Villa Park.
Unai Emery’s arrival has seen one of the sharpest turns in form of any club in recent memory, and look likely to claim Europa Conference League qualification.
Brighton, meanwhile, have gone one better!
Some truly stunning performances right the way through their campaign has resulted in a sixth-place finish, and that means they are off to the Europa League.
At Brighton, I’d have been very keen on the Seagulls, but in Villa, I still think they can steal a point.
Nottingham Forest are safe from danger, and they’ll look to close out their season with a win on the road over Crystal Palace.
I was almost certain that they would be relegated, but three wins and a draw from their last five Premier League fixtures, and Forest live to fight another season.
Crystal Palace have returned another Crystal Palace-like season, and they will finish midtable again.
With their foot now off the accelerator, I don’t think that Forest are any chance of winning this.
Manchester United end their season at home to Fulham.
They’re still not back to the level we became used to when Alex Ferguson was at the helm, but the slow rebuild of United did look better this season.
Fulham will rarely challenge for much more than survival each season, but they’ve been competitive again this time, and they haven’t lost in their last three league appearances.
Premier League champions Manchester City travel to London to face a credible Brentford side on the final day of the season.
It has been another glittering campaign on the blue side of Manchester, and a third-consecutive league title might not be the only thing they win this year – a Champions League final awaits!
The Bees have consolidated themselves as Premier League mainstays, meanwhile, and they have won four of their last 5 matches.
I don’t think that City will lose this match, but with one eye on another competition, and against an opponent of this quality, I think they’ll be pushed all the way!
