The race is all but complete, and it would take something horrific to happen for Manchester City not to hoist the trophy once again.
Arsenal just could not make it to the finish line, and they’ll have to be content with Champions League Qualification, which was almost certainly the target for this season anyway.
There’s plenty to look forward to this week in the penultimate round of the Premier League, including Liverpool taking on Villa and City hosting Chelsea!
European qualification is off the table, and there’s nothing more than pride on the line for Spurs when they host London rivals Brentford in Game Week 37.
It has been a pretty forgettable season for Spurs and frankly, the end of the campaign cannot come quickly enough.
Brentford meanwhile have consolidated themselves as a Premier League mainstay, and they’ll almost certainly finish in the top half of the table.
This should be a pretty well-fought match.
Another London Derby sees Fulham take on Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage, with little more than bragging rights on the line here as well!
Fulham’s resurgence these last couple of weeks has been quite impressive, and they’ve climbed back into tenth position following consecutive wins.
Palace have won two of their last three matches, highlighted by a pretty comfortable effort that also kept Bournemouth scoreless last week.
I can’t split them!
Betting suggests one of, if not the tightest contest of the week will come up between Wolves and Everton in the Midlands.
Wolves have done enough to survive the drop this season, but it certainly hasn’t been their best season on record, and a regroup is necessary before the new campaign.
Everton, meanwhile, are still well and truly locked in the relegation dogfight after another disappointing loss last week, this time at the hands of City.
Solely as a result of their sheer desperation, I’m backing the Toffees to get it done.
A bit of a mismatch in class sees Bournemouth host Manchester United in the penultimate week of the Premier League.
The Cherries did enough earlier in the season to keep themselves up in England’s topflight, and good thing, because their recent form has been pretty bloody dreadful.
United are desperately chasing Champions League qualification following a few late stumbles, and nothing short of a win this week will do, which I think they will achieve.

Early betting would have you believe that a Liverpool victory is the only possible outcome in this clash, but I am personally not so sure.
The Reds’ recent form has been very good, but barring a couple of little hiccups, so too has Villa’s, and they bounced back into winning form at the expense of Spurs last week.
Both clubs have been in the European framework for the season, and while Villa’s chances of qualification are shot, they can still make things difficult for this opponent.
Arsenal are surely over the odds, even at $1.57 (at publish) to knock off the lowly Forest this weekend.
Sure, the title race is all but done and they have botched there, but this is hardly a match against an opponent like Manchester City, and to their credit, the Gunners have obviously been better than most other clubs this season.
Forest aren’t assured safety, but I simply don’t think they can win this, nor have much of an impact.
The Premier League dream could be over again for Leeds United, but an upset win this week would breathe vital life into their bid to stay up.
They started looking pretty shaky last season, and this campaign has been even worse for Leeds.
They enter the second-last week of competition 18th overall, and a loss here would almost certainly end their chances, given they play Tottenham on the final day.
West Ham are still mathematically a chance of relegation, but it’s highly unlikely, and even a point from this would be good enough for them.
Southampton will contest their penultimate match in the Premier League away to Brighton on Sunday night AEST.
It has been a very memorable decade for the Saints in England’s top league, but they’ve hardly fired a shot this season, and they will be demoted to The Championship.
On the other hand, Brighton have had their most memorable season in the Premier League era, and they will finish only just outside of the European qualification spots.
The result of this one appears to be an open and shut case, in my opinion.
Incredible that the biggest difference in head-to-head prices week could materialise between Manchester City and Chelsea!
City are absolutely airborne, and after taking control of the Premier League, qualified for the Champions League Final by absolutely thrashing Real Madrid on Thursday morning.
The end of the season cannot come quickly enough for Chelsea, and they have won just one of their last one of their last eight league matches to sit 11th in overall standings. Wow.
The final match of the second-to-final week of the Premier League takes us to the North of England, where Newcastle can all but lock up a Champions League berth, while all but relegating Leicester to the Championship.
Boy is there a lot on the line.
The Magpies have been nothing short of outstanding under Eddie Howe, and the sky does appear to be the limit for the old and proud club.
It’s a shame that the Foxes look destined to play in the second division next year, given they’ve now won the Premier League, and from an Aussie’s perspective, Harry Souttar plays there.
All of that forgotten, it looks likely to be one-sided.
