Premier League Game Week 36 Tips & Preview

Premier League Game Week 36 Tips & Preview

There are only three weeks remaining in the Premier League and boy, are things getting exciting.

Manchester City, who still also have a game in hand, can take a big step towards another title by beating the relegation-threated Everton in Game Week 36, while Arsenal can keep the pressure on by beating Brighton.

Tips for those two matches and my remaining Premier League Game 36 Tips below!

Leeds United vs Newcastle United
Newcastle to Win ($1.70)

Game Week 36 kicks off in Yorkshire when a desperate Leeds United hosts the potentially Champions League-bound Newcastle United.

It has been a long and arduous season for the one-time Premier League mainstay, but Leeds’ time in the topflight is in serious danger again, as they enter the third-last week of competition in 19th overall.

Newcastle suffered defeat to Arsenal last week, but obviously, this is an enormous drop in class, and I think they’ll easily justify their market favouritism.

Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth
Under 2.5 Goals ($1.91)

Palace takes on Bournemouth and both are eager for three competition points following losses in Game Week 35.

For Palace, it was against a Spurs side that has been in freefall for the last month, and who are desperately seeking to remain in the European Qualification framework.

For Bournemouth, it was against a similarly free-falling Chelsea, who actually would have found themselves in 12th place without the win.

Both of these clubs will survive at the end of the season and while there isn’t much more than bragging rights on the line, I still think it will be competitive.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur
Draw ($3.50)

One of the better contests of the week looms between Villa and Spurs, live from Villa Park at midnight on Saturday.

Villa suffered what I thought to be their most disappointing defeat of the year last weekend, at the hands of Wolves.

That was their second in succession and it all but ending their chances of a European berth, which is an unfitting result for what has been an excellent return to form this season.

Spurs snapped a pretty lengthy losing streak of their own with a tight victory over Palace, and it could be the turning point that they need to fight back into European contention.

I can’t split them, and I think that the draw looks a bit of value.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest
Both Teams to Score ($1.95)

Chelsea takes on Nottingham Forest after finally breaking back into the winner’s stall.

They’ve been just awful throughout the last month and longer, but Chelsea did finally stop their freefall with a comprehensive and win over Bournemouth.

Forest were also last-start winners and breathed plenty of life into their survival bid, knocking off Southampton and netting four goals in the process.

Now that Chelsea have gotten that winless hoodoo off their backs, I wouldn’t mind betting they’ll be tough to beat for the rest of the campaign (other than the game against City).

Southampton vs Fulham
Fulham to Win ($2.40)

Southampton’s Premier League stint is all but over, and they face another tough task against Fulham in Game Week 32.

Many didn’t expect the Saints to last in England’s topflight beyond one season, so the decade that they have been up has obviously been enormous. They’ve won just six games this season, however, and a rebuild in a weaker competition is probably just what the doctor ordered.

Fulham’s first season back in the Premier League has been a decent one, and they climbed back into tenth following a Week 35 win over Leicester.

I can’t see the Saints winning again, and that points to one outcome in my opinion!

Manchester United vs Wolves
Under 2.5 Goals ($2.30)

United will attempt to avoid a hat-trick of league losses when they host Wolves this week.

A Champions League berth looked to be a foregone conclusion for the Red Devils only a couple of weeks ago, but consecutive losses to Brighton and West Ham now have them on the edge of dropping out of the four!

For the most part this season, Wolves have been pretty forgettable, but they delivered the in-form Aston Villa a defeat in Game Week 35, and they take plenty of confidence into this clash as a result.

Neither side has been scoring a lot of goals, so that’s the way I’m looking to bet.

Everton vs Manchester City
City to Nil ($2.20)

Everton are still battling for survival, and things get even harder when they take on league-leaders Manchester City on Sunday night.

Its been one of the Toffees’ worst ever efforts in the Premier League and frankly, they probably deserve to be dropped to the second tier.

That being said, they did themselves a huge favour by beating Brighton on Tuesday morning, and what a stunning performance it was – probably their best of the season.

Regardless, City are on the hunt for a title, and they will almost certainly win this easily.

Brentford vs West Ham
Brentford to Win ($2.05)

The only London Derby of the week sees Brentford take on West Ham, and it should be a ripping contest!

The Bees have well and truly consolidated their position in the Premier League this season and they’ll likely finish their campaign in the top half of the table.

They did suffer defeat last weekend, but when considering it was a 1-0 scoreline and away to the resurgent Liverpool, clearly all is not lost.

West Ham knocked off United, meanwhile, and with that result, all but ensured their own survival in the Premier League.

I really like Brentford this week, particularly in considering their final two matches of the season are Spurs away and City at home… it could be their final victory!

Arsenal vs Brighton
Same Game Multi

Arsenal takes on Brighton at the Emirates in Game Week 36’s penultimate fixture.

A week ago, I would have given both clubs a real chance of winning this, Arsenal had fallen out of winning form and Brighton were flying high.

Then Game Week 35 happened, the Gunners won away to Newcastle and Brighton were absolutely towelled by Everton.

In my opinion, that leaves only one real result here.

Leicester City vs Liverpool
Liverpool to Nil ($3.20)

Leicester are desperate for points, but they’ll surely need to muster a season-best performance to take some from the Reds!

Things looked fine enough at the new year, but the Foxes really have struggled throughout the last few months, and they sit eighteenth ahead of their third-last match of the season.

Liverpool’s fortunes have gone the other way.

A slow start that is a distant memory, and next to City, they’re probably the formed team of the league!
