Do Ya Punk was scratched from last Saturday’s Neds Mornington Cup Day program to instead run here, and I think that it will prove to be the correct decision.
Do Ya Punk has proven to be a great horse for the Peter Moody yard, recording four wins and as many placings from just eleven starts.
He steps out today second up and off a competitive performance at Bendigo earlier this month, and his second-up record is excellent.
I’m keen to give Fall For Cindy another chance in Race 5 at Randwick-Kensington today.
The Sacred Falls filling broke her maiden comfortably at Kembla Grange two starts back, and I thought that she was decent when fourth in Group 3 company last time out.
She steps out today in peak order and this is obviously a fair drop in class.
Melbourne Cup favourite White Marlin will go around in Race 5 at Flemington today, and I think it looks a great opportunity to have a Same Race Multi.
White Marlin is yet to taste anything but success in Australia or abroad, winning six of six and somehow, only improving every time that he steps out.
He’s opened a $1.60 favourite in betting today, so I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi, and pump up my odds further with Horrifying running into the first four.
Horrifying is yet to strike in three starts back from a spell, but he’ll relish getting back to Flemington today, and back onto a firm deck. The booking of Craig Williams also adds confidence. At publish, this Same Race Multi equates to odds of $5.10.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 1 White Marlin (Win)
- 4 Horrifying (Top 4)
Pinstriped returned one of the better performances of his career at Sandown a couple of weeks ago, and a repeat would see him winning again today at Flemington.
The Street Boss gelding ahs continued to improve with each start back this time, and boy was he impressive in a lucrative VOBIS race last time out.
He’s untested over 1700m, but I can’t see a reason why he won’t relish it.
