Beautiful Heart takes winning form into the Princess Stakes, and I think that she can have an impact again at a lovely price ($14 at publish).
A close relation to multiple Group 1 winner Hungry Heart, Beautiful Heart finished second, beaten two lengths at Kembla Grange first-up this time and powered home to break her maiden at Hawkesbury last time out.
This is another decent rise in class, but she is still on the improve and she’s drawn ideally under Jimmy Orman.
I’m very keen on Never Talk in the Hawkesbury Crown.
Never Talk didn’t show a lot in her first run back this year but she was freshened, sent back to the trials, and powered home into second behind Zapateo in the Sapphire Stakes on Day 2 of The Championships.
Fitter third-up, she’ll just need some luck from the barrier, and I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.
Jigsaw was found out a little in Group 1 company at his last appearance, but I think that this is the Neds Hareeba Stakes is the perfect race for him.
The form around this horse throughout his entire career has been strong, and he returned this time for four-consecutive wins, prior to his William Reid flop.
Given that start came off a freshen up I’m expecting improvement, and this is a far more suitable task.
Hezashocka finished fourth in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at his last appearance, and a repeat of that effort would be good enough to win the Neds Mornington Cup.
Hezashocker has proven to be an outstanding horse for the Mick Price & Mick Kent Jnr yard for the last couple of seasons, and he seems to improve each time he comes back.
He steps out today at peak fitness and is ready for the mile and a half.
