Takara Star is chasing a hat-trick when she steps out in Race 2 at Muswellbrook this afternoon.
The Stratum Star mare broke her maiden in dominant fashion here two back, and she franked that performance in BM58 company last time out.
She’s rock-hard fit and can continue her rise through the grades.
Le Melody hasn’t been seen at the races since October, but this is an enormous drop in class from her last appearance and a great launchpad for her.
The Your Song mare returned some lovely performances last time in, winning at Tamworth most notably and ending her prep midfield in The Kosciuszko.
She is yet to taste anything but success at this point of her prep and is my best bet of the day.
Clinqstar has returned two nice performances since debuting and is ready to win at Cranbourne this evening.
The Tosen Stardom filly finished second, beaten a head at Swan Hill on debut before filling the minors at Mornington, last time out.
Fitter third-up, I can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish.
Smokin’ Holly can make a winning return to the races at Cranbourne tonight.
The Exosphere mare was a consistent performer last time in, and she was particularly good at the beginning of her campaign.
She’s drawn ideally tonight under Luke Nolen and is certainly up to something of this quality.
