Premier League Game Week 27 Tips & Preview

Premier League Game Week 27 Tips & Preview

Game Week 26 tossed up a few wild results, as the Gunners retained their buffer over City with a heart-stopping injury-time winner over Bournemouth, while Liverpool announced their return with a 7-0 victory over bitter rivals Man U.

Though there are no big 6 showdowns this weekend, there is still plenty of value to be found from a punting perspective.

Our Offside Oracle has unpacked all 10 Premier League fixtures across the weekend and is looking to assist the punters with his best betting plays over each game.

BOURNEMOUTH VS LIVERPOOL
Liverpool to Win to Nil $2.55

Liverpool looks to continue their Premier League resurgence when they take on cellar dwellers Bournemouth.

The Reds’ defense has finally clicked into gear, keeping five straight clean sheets, collecting 13 from a possible 15 competition points.

Meanwhile, the Cherries have won once across their last 10 PL fixtures (2D,7L), and find themselves bottom of the league table with a GD of -27.

I’m going to keep this one simple and back the Reds to win without conceding.

TOTTENHAM VS NOTTM FOREST
Under 2.5 Goals $2.05

Tottenham looks to bounce back to winning ways after losing 1-0 to the Wolves last week before getting bundled out of the UCL after failing to score at home against AC Milan.

They’ll host a Forest outfit winless in four games (2D,2L) and sitting just four points above the drop zone.

The last four league games between this pair have seen under 2.5 goals scored, while the Spurs’ last six games across all comps have seen the Unders hit.

I’m backing Tottenham’s scoring woes to continue, with yet another low-scoring fixture to be played out in the capital.

EVERTON VS BRENTFORD
Brentford $2.70

Everton and Brentford are both priced at $2.70 heading into this fixture, though looking at form there can only be a case made for the visitors.

The Bees are undefeated across their last 12 league games (6W,6D), and are yet to lose to the Toffees in the top flight (2W,1D).

Alternatively, Everton has lost eight times across the same trip (2W,2D), and currently resides inside the drop zone.

Brentford enters this fixture off the back of an impressive victory over Fulham and should have no issues seeing off an underperforming Toffees side.

LEICESTER VS CHELSEA
Chelsea $2.00

Speaking of underperformers, Leicester welcomes the Blues to the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes have lost three straight league fixtures, and don’t look like competing while star playmaker Maddison is sidelined.

Meanwhile, Chelsea won its first fixture since GW19 (3D,2L) last time out, seeing off Leeds 1-0, leaving them 11 points off the top four.

The Blues consolidated their league victory, with a 2-0 win over Dortmund in the UCL seeing them through to the quarterfinals.

I’m backing Potter’s boys to kick on with the rest of the season, taking all three points on offer here.

LEEDS VS BRIGHTON
HT/FT Brighton/Brighton $3.25

Brighton travels to Leeds after completely dismantling the Hammers in a 4-0 display at home last weekend.

Alternatively, The Whites fell 1-0 to Chelsea at the Bridge, leaving them perched just above the drop zone on goal difference alone.

The Seagulls won’t be fazed heading to Elland Rd, going undefeated against Leeds in the PL (3W,2D), collecting the third most points per away fixture this season (1.64), only behind Arsenal and Man City.

Brighton has netted first in eight of their 11 road fixtures this season and I’m backing them to hit the ground running at Elland Rd.

CRYSTAL PALACE VS MAN CITY
City to Win & Haaland to Score 2+ Goals $4.11

Crystal Palace is winless across their last nine PL starts (5D,4L) and goalless in their previous two.

In contrast, City has won three games on the trot in all comps, outscoring their opponents 9-1 across the trip.

The last time these sides met, Haaland netted a hattrick to secure the Sky Blues all three points (4-2) after initially going 2-0 down in the opening half.

Haaland has netted six more goals than the Eagles’ entire team this season, and I’m backing the Norwegian striker to bag another two goals here on the way to a City victory.

FULHAM VS ARSENAL
Arsenal to Win & Saka 1+ SoT $2.08

The Gunners’ fairytale season went to another level last week when they came from two goals down to defeat the Cherries 3-2 in injury time!

They’ll now head to Craven Cottage to take on a Fulhum outfit coming off the back of a 3-2 defeat to the Bees.

No side has amassed more competition points on the road than Arsenal this season (31), a record the Gunners will be looking to build on with their fourth straight win at the Cottage.

The Gunners will simply have too much class for Fulham in this one, I’m backing them to take all three points combined with Bakayo Saka to find a shot on target.

MAN UTD VS SOUTHAMPTON
Man U to Win & Rashford & Bruno 1+ SoT $2.01

It may be 3rd vs 19th at Old Trafford, though it’s United who enters this clash off the back of a 7-0 defeat to the Reds last weekend!

Meanwhile, the Saints claimed a rare victory to see them climb off the foot of the table, be it on goal difference alone.

Despite their massive defeat at Anfiled, the Red Devils bounce back at home, squashing Spanish outfit Real Betis 4-1 in the 1st leg of their Europa League QF.

Erik ten Hag’s side has been a different beast at home this season, going 21 games without defeat across all competitions!

I’m backing Man U to build on their home run with another victory over the Saints, multi’d with a shot on target from both Rashford and Bruno.

WEST HAM VS ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa $3.30

West Ham starts as home favorites, despite only tasting victory against Everton and Forest across their last 13 PL starts (3D,8L).

Meanwhile, Villa are out to claim their third league win on the trot and a fifth away victory from six road trips (1L)!

The Hammers have dominated this fixture in recent history, though they look devoid of all confidence and ability at the minute and I can’t see them turning the corner here.

NEWCASTLE VS WOLVES
Wolves or Draw & Under 2.5 Goals $3.01

Game Week 27 wraps up on Monday morning (AEST) when the Toon plays host to the Wolves.

After an incredible start to the season, the wheels are starting to wobble at Newcastle, with only three points to show from their last five league fixtures (3D,2L).

They’ll take on a Wolves side who are slowly building momentum, with wins against Tottenham, Southampton, and Liverpool among their last six starts (1D,2L).

This pair played out their third 1-1 draw across their last five meetings earlier in the season.

The Toon look to have run their race for this season and I see them continuing to drop points here.
