Smooth Sailing was an impressive winner on debut and can continue her rise through the grades at Gosford today.
The Your Song filly showed ability at the trials prior to debuting and put the writing on the wall with an easy win at Nowra earlier this month.
She’ll only improve for that experience, and this looks the next logical step for her.
Lady Hampton looks to be a lovely type, and she can record another win at Bendigo this afternoon.
The Hampton Court mare has returned four competitive performances this time in, winning a 0-64 t Mornington and filling the minors, finishing a head behind the winner at Sandown last time.
She’s in peak order and this looks a decent drop in class – she’s my best bet of the day.
The consistent Oxford Vision goes around in Race 5 at Gosford today and I think that it looks a very winnable one for him.
Oxford Vision hasn’t finished worse than second at his last four trips to the races, winning in Class 1 company here two back and letting down with a big turn of foot to finish second from the back of the field last time out.
He’s in peak order and with even luck, I think he’ll be tough to beat.
I’m going to give Austrata one last chance to win at Bendigo today.
He has been a good horse throughout his career and has picked off some nice races in town, but it is fair to say that Austrata’s best is probably behind him, and he is yet to strike in four starts back this time.
He should be in peak fitness today, while this is also probably the easiest task that he has been set.
