Pakenham: Race 2 (6:15pm AEDT)
No. 12 Terrestar

Terrestar has improved for two starts back from a spell, and she looks ready to break her maiden at Pakenham this afternoon.

The Zoustar filly finished seventh, beaten more than four lengths at Sandown first-up last month and worked home well for fourth here last time.

Fitter third-up and from the good draw, this looks her chance to strike.

Pakenham: Race 3 (6:45pm AEDT)
No. 6 Majestic Style

Majestic Style returns from a let-up at Pakenham this evening, and I thought that she was a touch of overs at her current quote ($10 at publish).

The Vadamos filly has made four appearances at the races, breaking her maiden and placing a further two times, and she wasn’t disgraced by Dunkel at Sandown last time out.

I like that she has been back to the trials recently, and we can have an each way play at the quote.

Pakenham: Race 5 (7:45pm AEDT)
No. 6 Princeofcambridge

I’m pretty keen on Princeofcambridge in the fifth at Pakenham tonight.

The Super Easy gelding returned some lovely performances in his native New Zealand at the beginning of his career, and only just missed on debut in Australia a couple of weeks ago.

With improvement for that effort, I think he’ll take a power of beating in this; he’ll just need a little luck from a wider draw.

Pakenham: Race 8 (9:15pm AEDT)
No. 4 Russian Dancer

Russian Dancer looks well placed to win the last at Pakenham tonight.

The Impending gelding ended his debut prep with a comfortable win in maiden company here at Pakenham, and he was unlucky not to pick up where he left off when second behind Seafield Road earlier this month.

With improvement for that effort, I think he’ll simply prove too good for this lot.
