Showman Jack is drawn to receive every chance in the fifth at Gosford tonight, and he can return to winning form.
The consistent son of Fernando Bale has returned several typically strong performances recently, striking over 520m at Wentworth Park and filling the minors of his last two.
He’s rock-hard fit and if he steps well, I think he’ll take a power of beating in something like this.
I thought that Rum Night could have an impact in Race 7 at Gosford tonight.
Rum Night has only recorded one win since debuting, but he has displayed plenty of ability, and has placed a further three times.
He maps to go forward tonight, and he can be in this for a long way.
Sonia Keeping was an impressive winner in maiden company last time out and can continue her rise through the grades at Gosford tonight.
The daughter of Zipping Garth has made only three appearances at the races so far, but she clearly has plenty of ability and was great at Richmond last time out.
I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Coasting Vote and Doug Judy each running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 8 Sonia Keeping (Win)
- 2 Casting Vote (Top 4)
- 3 Doug Judy (Top 4)
Our Boy Buzz is another one that I think can lead all the way at Gosford tonight.
The son of Aston Dee Bee won four races in succession through late December and January, and was unlucky not to bounce back from a luckless run when second, beaten less than a length here last time out.
If he steps well, I think he’ll prove very difficult to catch.
