Canterbury: Race 3 (7pm AEDT)
No. 1 Coriolis

Coriolis has finished second at each of her first two starts back this time, and she is ready to break her maiden at Canterbury tonight.

The Lonhro filly was a length and a half behind the winner at Wyong first-up, and she finished off well behind Ramones at Randwick last time.

Fitter third-up and under James McDonald, I think that this is her opportunity to strike.

Canterbury: Race 4 (7:30pm AEDT)
No. 6 Oryx

Oryx takes winning form and further improvement into this contest, and he can continue his rise through the grades.

The Exceed And Excel gelding has made only five starts since debuting, but he has stamped himself as one to watch by winning twice and only just missing on another occasion.

His first-up run this time was the best of his career to date, and this looks the next logical step for him.

Canterbury: Race 7 (9pm AEDT)
No. 1 Chenin

Chenin can bounce back in the penultimate race at Canterbury tonight.

The Mark Newnham-trained mare finished down the order in the Group 3 Belle Of The Turf at Gosford last time out, but her form prior to that run was good, an included a lovely win in BM72 company at Warwick Farm.

This is a far more suitable race for her, and she steps out in peak order.

Canterbury: Race 8 (9:30pm AEDT)
No. 4 Fuller

Fuller is another last-start winner that looks capable of striking again at Canterbury tonight.

The Pierro gelding has continue to improve with racing since resuming from a spell, culminating in a tight victory here, last time out.

He’s rock-hard fit and a similar performance would see him into the finish again.
