Cawbourne Magic’s recent form has been nothing short of outstanding, and he’s the one to beat in tonight’s Group 2 Summer Distance Plate Final.
Cawbourne Magic has won seven of his last eight starts, breaking the clock several times, with his only miss being a still impressive second in Group 1 company.
There isn’t a lot of value left in his win quote, so I am going to select him as the winner in a Same Race Multi and pump up my odds with Ritza Zipper running into the first three and Osprey Storm running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 8 Cawbourne Magic (Win)
- 1 Ritza Piper (Top 3)
- 4 Osprey Storm (Top 4)
Mortified was an impressive winner of her heat last week, and she’s drawn to receive every chance in tonight’s Group 1 National Futurity Final.
The daughter of Fernando Bale has been excellent since debuting, winning ten of sixteen starts and placing a further four times.
If she steps well from Box 1, I really can’t find a reason why she won’t be in the finish again.
Victa Damian has been excellent since debuting, and the National Derby Final looks the perfect Group 1 target for him.
Having won seven of his ten career starts and placed on one other occasion, Victa Damian looks to have a very bright future, and he has hardly put a paw wrong.
He will need some luck from Box 5, but he smoked his rivals under identical conditions last week, and a repeat would surely see him winning again.
This is an excellent edition of the Paws Of Thunder Final, but I am siding with Amron Boy.
The son of Zambora Brockie has won four of his last five starts, and finishing second behind Wow She’s Fast in The Phoenix on the other occasion.
He’s also going to need some luck in running from Box 5, but his ability knows no bounds and with even luck, I think he can win.
