Zappa has returned some lovely efforts recently and strikes another winnable race at Richmond tonight.
The son of Fernando Bale has won two of his last five starts, breaking the clock on both occasions, including a dominant performance here at Richmond.
He boasts good box speed and with luck from the potentially awkward draw, I think he can win this.
Golden Light looks the one to beat in Race 6 at Richmond tonight.
The daughter of Kinloch Braw has been a consistent performer recently without having won a race since October, but the form that she has found around some above-average chasers suggests that something like this is more than winnable.
I’m going to select her as the winner in a Same Race Multi and build out my bet further with Wild Amigo running into the first three and Jerry Rascal running into the first four.
Our Same Race Multi selections are:
- 2 Golden Light (Win)
- 6 Wild Amigo (Top 3)
- 4 Jerry Rascal (Top 4)
Funky Girl takes winning form into Race 7 at Richmond tonight and looks well placed to make it two in a row.
The talented daughter of Fernando Bale has been a consistent performer throughout her campaign, winning three of her last seven starts, including a decent 520m contest at Wentworth Park last time out.
She can go straight to the lead from Box 3 and make every post a winner.
Running Reds’ form since debuting has been outstanding, and he is the one to beat again in the penultimate race at Richmond tonight.
the son of Pindari Express has had five starts for four wins and a second placing, and he charged home under almost identical circumstances here last week.
A repeat of that effort, and I think that he’ll just win again.
