And then there were eight.
They call it a Wild Card for a reason, what a wild round of games we had last weekend!
We had the 49ers run away with a win, the Jags come back from a 27-0 deficit, the Bills almost lose to a depleted Miami, the Giants surviving a thriller against the Vikings, the Ravens fingertips away from beating the Bengals and the massive thrashing that was the Cowboys v Buccaneers game.
We’ve got four action packed games coming up this weekend and all of them have the potential to be instant classics.
I’ve run my eyes over the playoff fixtures this week and have you covered for tips.
Here is my preview of the Divisional Round!
Check out the nonsense we get up to to on the Neds NFL Punting Podcast too, there is a link to that below!

After their incredible comeback against the Chargers, the Jaguars will take on Super Bowl favourites the Kansas City Chiefs.
That Jags game showed me a lot, firstly that their defence can be completely torched very quickly and that their offence has enough fire power to hang with most teams in this league.
It’s all going to come down to how the Jags start this game, if they jump late like they did against the Chargers – the Chiefs will not let them back into this game, which I believe is going to happen.
The Chiefs are far too good this year and are coming off the bye week, I’m expecting Mahomes to do what he does best and decimate any and all teams in his way in the playoffs.
SGM Tip: Chiefs 14+, Mahomes 2+ Passing TDs, Etienne 60+ Rush Yards @ $4.21
The Giants have won just two of their last 13 games against the Eagles, a record that goes all the way back to December 2016 when the Giants were last in the playoffs.
Granted they are are a much stronger side this season and Daniel Jones is playng out of his skin but just how deep can the Giants go this year?
I think this will be their last game of the season and all though it’s been an incredible campaign, I think they’ll lose this one to their divisional rivals in a big way.
Jalen Hurts is off the injury report and is ready to go.
I am very concerned for NY.
SGM TIP: Eagles 14+, Miles Sanders Anytime TD, Miles Sanders 60+ Rush Yards @ $4.94
The Bengals O-Line is quite injured but I think this head to head market is an overreaction.
Sadly their Week 17 game got cut short but did you see how quickly the Bengals marched up the field and scored on this Bills team?
Not to mention the stinker the Bills had against the Dolphins, Josh Allen had 3 turnovers in that game and if he does that again, this Bengals defence will eat him alive.
I’m with the Bengals in this one and am backing a shoot out.
Overs on 48.5 points is a market I love and I’m hoping that we get to talk about this game for a very long time (for good reasons)
SGM Tip: Bengals H2H, Tee Higgins Anytime TD, Ja’Marr Chase 60+ Receiving Yards @ $7.41
Two teams that walked through to the Divisional Round.
I reckon this game is going to be a defensive masterclass.
Two teams with incredible units taking on quarterbacks that have played well recently but will break under pressure.
I think the 49ers should come out on top here, I believe they have the best defence in the league and while the Cowboys played incredibly well last week against Brady and the Bucs, I’m backing them to struggle in this game.
SGM Tip: 49ers H2H, Under 46 Points, Christian McCaffrey Anytime TD @ $4.47
