2022 NFL Week 7 Tips & Preview

2022 NFL Week 7 Tips & Preview

Blink and you’ll miss it! We’re already a third of the way through the NFL Regular Season

Football is alive and well in New York! The Jets and Giants are a combined 9-3 and are currently both in the playoffs for the first time since the 2006-07 season.

Josh Allen is now $2.50 for MVP after beating Mahomes and the Chiefs in Week 6!

There is a lot going on this week. I love the Friday game Saints v Cardinals there is also Jaguars v Giants, Ravens v Browns and 49ers v Chiefs that I am looking forward to.

Here is my preview for Week 7 of the NFL.

There’s plenty of action each week on the Neds NFL Punting Podcast too, check that out below!

Arizona Cardinals v New Orleans Saints
Tip: Podcast Multi - Saints Win, Taysom Hill 30+ Rush Yards, Alvin Kamara 80+ combined Rush + Receiving Yards @ $4.50

My god we’ve had some bad TNF games this year, but I think it’s all uphill from here! (Touchwood)

An interesting stat I found while putting this together. The Cardinals have lost 8 straight games at home and I’m starting to think that might blow out to 9.

The injury cloud is well and truly over NOLA this year and it’s starting to turn into a hurricane (too soon?).

All that being said though, the Saints have been incredibly creative with their play calling and are keeping their season alive.

On the poddy we backed the Saints H2H, Kamara 80+ Combined Rushing + Receiving as well as Taysom Hill 30+ Rush Yards for $4.50.

Yes DeAndre Hopkins is back but the Cardinals are in shambles.

Anytime TD Tip: Taysom Hill

best bet
Jacksonville Jaguars v New York Giants
Tip: New York H2H @ $2.35

This is ridiculous isn’t it?

The Giants who are 5-1 still aren’t being tipped as a favourite against the Jaguars who have lost two in a row.

I love Trevor Lawrence, I love Travis Ettiene and the Jags D has been huge but come on. Put some respect on the Giants name.

They are having a hell of a season so far and $2.35 is absolute value for the boys. I’m getting on that every day of the week.

Giants will be 6-1 on Monday morning for sure.

Anytime TD Tip: Daniel Bellinger

Cincinnati Bengals v Atlanta Falcons
Tip: Cincinnati Bengals 1-13 @ $2.45

Don’t sleep on the Falcons this year. I tipped them to be quite poor this season but they have found some success.

Any interesting stat about ATL, they are the only team in the league to cover the line in the first 6 weeks of games.

The Bengals are huge favourites but I reckon the Falcons will stick with them in this one. I’m taking the Bengals for a little win here.

Anytime TD Tip: Ja’Marr Chase

Tennessee Titans v Indianapolis Colts
Tip: Colts H2H @ $2.15

Huge AFC South Clash here at 3am (or 4am, I can’t keep up) our time.

The Titans will be fresh off a bye and ready to hold onto top spot in the south but I think it will be the Colts leaving with the W in this one.

Mainly thanks to their defence, Jonathan Taylor has been limitied in practice during the week and is a chance to play but I wouldn’t put a bet on him until he is confirmed which may not be till like 1:30am Monday morning Aus time.

What I am happy to bet on however is the Colts H2H, I will be taking that today.

Anytime TD Tip: Alec Pierce

Carolina Panthers v Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tip: Buccs 14+ $2.40

It was a bit of an upset for the Buccs last week, going down to Pickett/ Trubisky’s Steelers.

I don’t see the Buccs losing two in a row especially to a team in absolute shambles the way that Carolina are.

I think Tampa win this one and win it big. I’ve backed 14+ in our podcast multi and I’m taking it here as well.

Anytime TD Tip: Chris Godwin

Dallas Cowboys v Detroit Lions
Tip: Over 49 Points @ $1.90

Will Dak play? What version of Detroit will we get?

I have plenty of questions about this game, The Lions are coming off a bye week which makes it two weeks in a row they’ve scored 0 points.

I’m going to back that the rest is what they needed and that their high powered offence will be back on show against Dallas.

The Cowboys will also want to put on a bounce back performance after losing to Philly and throwing 3 INTs.

I think over 49 points looks like the play here.

Anytime TD Tip: TJ Hockenson

Baltimore Ravens v Cleveland Browns
Tip: Ravens 1-13 @ $2.45

The Ravens can’t close a game out this year. What’s the deal?

They’re 3-3 and currently top of the AFC North but they should be miles ahead in that division if it wasn’t for late game brain snaps.

They should win this one but the Browns aren’t scrubs by any definition they will stick with the Ravens and this should be a great game.

I think the Ravens should just scrape in a W here.

Anytime TD Tip: Nick Chubb

Washington Commanders v Green Bay Packers
Tip: Packers -5 @ $1.90

Alright, GB have lost two in a row to teams that were under .500 last year but I don’t think they’ll make that 3 in a row.

The Commanders are without Carson Wentz in this one which should make things harder but who knows with Washington.

I don’t want to spend any time on them, The Packers will turn it around this week. They just need to lean on their run game a bit more.

I expect them to cover in this one.

Anytime TD Tip: Aaron Jones

Las Vegas Raiders v Houston Texans
Tip: Texans +7 @ $1.90

If I didn’t have Dameon Pierce in fantasy, I would not care about this game.

The Raiders are 1-4, and the Texans are 1-3-1. Someone has to win this one!

Both teams are also coming off the bye and I can’t get a read on if that will be good or bad for them.

One thing I do know is that Pierce will be getting 20 Carries in this game and I’m bullish on him to have a big one. I will be getting on his overs + a TD and I think the Texans should cover in this one.

Anytime TD Tip: Dameon Pierce

Denver Broncos v New York Jets
Tip: Jets H2H @ $1.98

I knew the Jets were waaaaaaay too long.

When I was doing my form before writing this they were more than $2 to win but they are now coming in more and more.

The Broncs have had an incredible defence this year but their offense is the lowest scoring in the comp.

Not to mention the Jets secondary is finally legit, Sauce Gardener is him.

The Jets are on to a winning formula and it’s by feeding Breece Hall, I’m expecting them to do just that against a Broncos D who are shutting down every WR that has a crack against them.

Anytime TD: Breece Hall

San Francisco 49ers v Kansas City Chiefs
Tip: Chiefs -2.5 @ $1.90

Game of the week!

Mahomes and The Chiefs will be looking to get back to their winning ways after losing a close one to the Bills.

It won’t be easy though, I think the 49ers have had the best defence in the league this year. I think there is a huge chance this game goes down to a field goal and it just so happens that the line is 2.5 so I’m going to take it!

Also huge rumors the Chiefs could be making a play for OBJ. That would be huge if they do!

Anytime TD Tip: Mecole Hardman

Los Angeles Chargers v Seattle Seahawks
Tip: Seattle +6 @ $1.87

Man the Chargers were bad last week.

I’ve tipped them to be up near the pointy end this year but they won’t be if they keep putting up performances like that.

Seattle aren’t going away either. Rookie RB Ken Walker looks like a breath of fresh air and the Chargers have struggled to stop RBs this year.

I’m pretty bullish on Ken Walker to have back to back big running games. Seattle +6 looks pretty solid too, I reckon there could be a field goal in this one too.

Anytime TD Tip: Ken Walker

Miami Dolphins v Pittsburgh Steelers
Tip: Pittsburgh Steelers (+7) @ $1.90

A pretty interesting matchup that I’m struggling to get a good read of.

Tua should be back and the Steelers are coming off a win against the Buccaneers. I think this should be a close game.

Kenny Pickett has been training fully during the week and should start in this one. I’m really liking the connection he has with rookie WR George Pickens.

I can’t split these two teams so I’m taking the Steelers to cover!

Anytime TD Tip: Tyreek Hill

New England Patriots v Chicago Bears
Tip: Patriots 14+ @ $2.60

I’m telling you now, I’m not watching this game.

The Bears are useless and the Pats play boring football. There isn’t a huge amount that excites me here except Pats RB Rhamondre Stevenson.

I’m expecting him to run riot on the Bears and the Patriots to blow them out.

I will be checking the scores on my phone in this one.

Anytime TD Tip: Rhamondre Stevenson
