Queanbeyan: Race 4 (2:55pm)
No. 7 Hot Dancing

Hot Dancing can return to winning form at Queanbeyan this afternoon.

The Sizzling mare has won only once in nine previous trips to the races, but she has improved for three starts back this time, and this is probably the easiest task that she has been set.

She’s rock-hard fit today and might not be offered a better opportunity to strike.

Queanbeyan: Race 5 (3:35pm)
No. 1 King Gutho

King Gutho can make a winning return at Queanbeyan this afternoon.

The Better Than Read gelding has raced consistently throughout his career, and he returned a winner in a similar race at the Sapphire Coast last time in.

His fresh record is good and he looks to be the class galloper in this field.

Queanbeyan: Race 6 (4:10pm)
No. 5 Borderlands

Borderlands takes winning form into the penultimate race at Queanbeyan this afternoon and can continue her rise through the grades.

The Headwater filly failed to beat a runner home on debut in July, but has improved sharply with each of her two subsequent efforts – filling the minors at Wagga before winning at Bathurst last time.

This is harder, but she has plenty of upside and can win again.

Queanbeyan: Race 7 (4:45pm)
No. 2 Radiohead

I thought that the $9 about Radiohead at publish was over the odds.

Radiohead was a hit-and-run winner at Canberra back in November and returned in April with a credible performance in Class 2 company.

He’ll take plenty of improvement into this race following a credible fourth placing in BM58 company last time out, and we can have an each-way play at the price.
