Foolish is the one that I want to be with in Race 4 at Muswellbrook this afternoon.
The Nicconi gelding mixed his form earlier this season, but broke his maiden at Taree two back before only just missing in Class 1 company here, last time out.
He’s rock-hard fit and gets the chance to go one better today.
Russian Standard has raced consistently since debuting and is primed to break his maiden at Muswellbrook this afternoon.
The Capitalist gelding has placed in four of six starts to date and he returned from a break to finish third, beaten a head here late last month.
With improvement, he might not get a better opportunity to win than this.
Vanbari can return to winning form in the penultimate race at Muswellbrook today.
The Vancouver gelding doesn’t win out of turn, but he has improved for his two starts back this time, and kept on to the line to finish third in a BM74 race at Scone.
Fitter third-up, this looks his opportunity to strike.
I’m going to give Warrah Flash another chance in the last at Muswellbrook today.
Warrah Flash finished fourth beaten three lengths in a similar race out at Tamworth two starts back, and didn’t quite match up in a Highway race at Rosehill Gardens last time out.
I’m expecting him to be at peak fitness today and the drop in class is certainly beneficial.
