Love Takes Time can win Race 2 at Sandown this afternoon.
The Team Freedman-trained galloper was an impressive winner at Pakenham when resuming back in April, and she has placed in two of three subsequent starts; only just missing at Mornington last time out.
She takes her place in this race in peak order and with even luck, she’ll take plenty of beating.
Healing Game hasn’t been seen at the races since March, but he was excellent during his debut campaign, and he can make a winning return at Sandown this afternoon.
The Tivaci gelding finished third on debut at Cranbourne in January, breaking his maiden here at Sandown and ending is prep with a run in Group 2 company.
This is obviously a decent drop in class and we know that he performs well fresh.
Silent Surrente faces a rise in class at Sandown this afternoon, but she also puts an unbeaten record on the line, and she can keep it alive.
The Fiorente filly stamped herself as one to watch with a comfortable win on debut at Ballarat in May, and she franked that effort with a dominant win in Class 1 company second up.
She boasts plenty of upside, gets some relief in the weights today under Logan McNeil and can fight out the finish again.
She hasn’t been seen at the races since February, but this looks an ideal launchpad for Minouche and I think she’ll take a power of beating.
The Written Tycoon filly recorded two wins and as many second placings from five starts during her debut prep, with her only miss being a still credible fifth in the Group 3 The Vanity.
Under Jye McNeil from barrier 6, I think that the $7.50 about her at publish is overs.
