Warwick Farm: Race 2 (1:25pm)
No. 3 The Milkybar Kid

The Milkybar Kid looks beautifully placed to strike again at Warwick Farm today.

Reliable Man gelding finished second, beaten half a length at Gosford when resuming back in May and hasn’t taken a backwards step, winning each of his three subsequent starts in bullish fashion.

A repeat of his last-start effort in an almost identical race would see him winning comfortably again.

Sandown: Race 4 (2:10pm)
No. 1 Zipping Boy

Zipping Boy has opened a firm favourite in betting and for good reason.

The Squamosa gelding didn’t show a lot during the early stages of his career, but he was unlucky not to strike in BM78 company first-up this time for Jerome Hunter.

This looks to be a weaker race and the horse harbours plenty of upside.

Sandown: Race 5 (2:45pm)
No. 3 Saint Tropez

Saint Tropez is another galloper who will take plenty of improvement into his race at Sandown today, and I think he’ll take a power of beating.

The Not A Single Doubt colt placed in Group 3 company back in April before finishing down the order in the Group 1 SA Derby, and he returned from a short break to fill the minors here earlier this month.

The booking of Craig Williams is a big plus and this looks well within his grasp.

Warwick Farm: Race 6 (3:45pm)
No. 3 Belle Espoir

This is a drop in class for Belle Espoir and she looks the value in this market.

The Nicconi mare clearly needed her first run back this time when finishing down the order at Kembla Grange, but she responded with a dominant win in BM68 company at Newcastle.

That performance booked her a place in a better BM78 race at Rosehill last time out, and while that did prove to be a bridge too far for her, something like this remains well within her ability.
