Randwick-Kensington: Race 1 (12:50pm)
No. 7 Snitcat

Snitcat is the one that I want to be with in the first at Randwick-Kensington today.

The Snitzel filly didn’t manage to win during her five-start debut prep, but she did perform well around some classy horses, and was last seen filling the minors behind Coolangatta in the Magic Millions Classic.

She has had the benefit of a trial in the lead-up to this and she can use this as a launchpad to bigger and better things.

Sandown: Race 4 (2:10pm)
No. 5 Rudhyar

Rudhyar has performed well on rain-affected tracks previously, and this looks a very winnable race for him.

The Sea The Stars gelding filled the minors over 1800m here two starts back, and he wasn’t far behind an impressive Eureka Street last time out.

Getting out to a mile and a half at this point of his prep looks ideal and the booking of Jamie Kah certainly doesn’t hinder his chances.

Randwick-Kensington: Race 5 (3:10pm)
No. 9 Green Flash

Green Flash can win when he steps out third-up at Randwick-Kensington this afternoon.

The Chris Waller-trained gelding finished midfield behind the likes of Jojo Was A Man when resuming back in May, and he was last seen flashing late for second in BM70 company at Ballarat.

He’s since been freshened, and he has drawn ideally into this contest under James McDonald.

Sandown: Race 6 (3:20pm)
No. 3 Sugartown

Sugartown is primed for a big effort at Sandown today.

The Shamus Award mare has been a strong and consistent performer for the Danny O’Brien yard since debuting, and she has returned a pair of nice performances to place at Cranbourne and here at Sandown this time in.

Fitter third-up under Damien Oliver and from the good draw, this looks her opportunity to strike.
