Bairnsdale: Race 1 (1pm)
No. 14 Wahoo Flyer

Wahoo Flyer simply will not be offered a better opportunity to break her maiden.

The daughter of Real Impact finished second at each of her three starts earlier this year, and finished half a length third at Pakenham first-up this time.

Fitter second-up and dropping back to a real country race, this is her opportunity.

Bairnsdale: Race 4 (2:30pm)
No. 5 Hurley's Hero

Hurley’s Hero has placed in three of four starts since debuting, and he too can break his maiden at Bairnsdale today.

The Lionhearted gelding filled the minors behind Barbaran at Wangaratta two starts back and only just missed at Sale most recently.

He steps out today in peak order and this looks very winnable.

Bairnsdale: Race 7 (4pm)
No. 9 Lord Almighty

Lord Almighty takes winning form into the penultimate race at Bairnsdale today and can continue his rise through the grades.

The Magnus gelding hasn’t missed placing in three starts back this time and was rewarded for his consistency with an easy win at Moe last time.

He races well on a heavy track and this doesn’t look beyond him.

Bairnsdale: Race 8 (4:30pm)
No. 7 Edinburgh

Edinburgh is the one that I want to be with in the eighth at Bairnsdale tonight.

The Sebring mare mixed her form a little in better races in Queensland through summer, but made a winning return at Donald late last month.

With improvement, this looks the next logical step.
